Group HAGGiS which specializes in limited movies and released quite a few decent flicks in past few months returns on the scene with dvd screener of a limited British sci-fi thriller Captain Eager And The Mark Of Voth. Sadly, various reviews are almost alays united at two points out of ten so this won’t probably be a too exciting film to watch.

Out of date and damaged by the past; Captain Eager is resurrected by the sprawling galactic corporation – MacroSpace. Corporate Space Manager Damien briefs our hero –his mission is to investigate the villainous Colonel Regamun (Rick Leaf), a maverick ‘client‘ causing trouble in the Veritan Sector, and perhaps in the process uncover the truth behind the mysterious Mark of Voth. Piloting his space rocket the Victory and along with Professor Moon, trusted side–kick Scrutty (Mark Heap), Scamp the Space Dog and old flame Jenny (Tamsin Greig) – Captain Eager and his team jump in to the digital age to save the day!

    Plot is like old school Sci-Fi.
    (BTW: Who are those in the background? And that pose M.Bisonis making is so 80’s!!! It’s almost sickening!!! :P )

    Seems like this is an attempt of making fun of the old SciFi films, sadly most of those are more fun to watch than this terrible attempt of making a comedy out of the genre.

    Limited = it was only shown in a limited number of cinemas, not a nationwide release.
