Hi all, i just started battlestar galactica yesterday i have seen 0101 to 0104 so far but tbh i seem that i lost something i mean in the first episode it says previously on battlestar galactica and i couldn't find an earlier episode. So since i just started i wanted to ask you wheter i see these episodes first before i go on the proper battle star galactica. Replies will be appreciated.

Just finished watching Caprica! I'm excited to see the series start next year. It seems like the writers of BSG purposely left a lot of those religion questions unanswered for a reason. Hopefully Caprica will eventually answer those questions left by BSG.

@8 This is the extended version. A two hour television show on U.S. is only about 80 minutes long as we have about 20 minutes of ads per hour of television. This version is only about 8-10 minutes longer though.
So if I have never watched any BSG and want to go in chronological sequence, then I start with the prequel BSG and from there watch Caprica?

As a big BSG fan I was dubious about this, but I have to say I liked it a lot.
It's also obviously tougher than the version that will get broadcast on TV (there's a lot of nudity and a juicy throat-cutting!)

I'd like to thank them for starting to post single megaupload links as well, best one of the bunch for me.
As for Caprica well, I'm hooked already. Good cast, interesting premise for how and why the cylons are created. Really looking forward to the rest of it.
I hope this one does not suck as bad as the remade BSG. I mean geeze, how many things can you change before it is the show in name only? Cylons are machines like the "foot soldiers" not like numbers 1-12. Boomer went from a black dude to an asian chick. starbuck when from a white dude to an ugly white chick. baltar went from a devious slimy stab-you-in-the-back-if-he-thought-it-would-help-him guy to a skinny greazy looking twit who whined all the time about how bad he had it. Didnt even see Athena in there anywhere (and she was a MILF) Even had a delicious young Jayne Seymore in a skin-tight uniform that left little to the imagination, and in the remake all they had was skanky lookin women I would not touch if they were the last ones on earth. The ONLY thing that made this worth watching was that finger lickin good Mary McDonnell.
If you dont or cannot come up with an original idea, then at the very least dont screw with shows that were better as the originals.

That is your opinion.
I know for a fact that it is hard to accept a recreation of one of your favorite shows/books/etc.
Just try to keep an open mind and remember the fact that it is a recreation, not an updated reiteration of the original.
If you really and truly try to keep an open mind, and you still feel it`s awful, then come back and tell us why you think so. (Not just, "It can`t compare to the 70`s version.")
I personally thought this pilot was slow in the beginning (other than the surprising nude scenes – which btw, I wonder if they can air that on the Sci-Fi channel), but it picked up towards the end. Looking forward to the next episode.
Also I`m a little confused on the timeline. Isn`t this supposed to be set 50 years before BSG? Then how did the Cylons become the 13th tribe that went to First Earth? Did they, in that 50 year span, create Cylons which were that close to humans, create an entire civilization, then destroy themselves, and have the Final Five escape, create more Cylons, and then come back to Caprica? Confusing.
