Cambridge Advanced Learners Dictionary-YYePGiSO

Group YYePG known for Ebooks and applications released a new application from Cambridge University Press today. While some may be thinking that this isn’t as exciting as some of the newer games and movies, this could be a very helpful tool for young kids mastering the English language, as well as high school or college students who lack a dictionary program(or basic writing skills). This software is fairly advanced, and should help with grammar and spelling more than common software such as Microsoft Word. If you have kids I highly recommend this small program.

A fully updated edition of the Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary and CD-ROM, with new, up-to-date vocabulary (e.g. sex up, speed-dating, whiteboard), new ‘mini-collocation’ boxes, and new frequency information to highlight the most important words to learn.

  • Frequency information highlights the most important words to learn.
  • Usage notes based on the Cambridge Learner Corpus (real student mistakes from Cambridge ESOL exam papers) help students avoid common mistakes.
  • Easy-to-understand definitions, and Guidewords to help you find the meaning you want — fast!

I appreciate these releases - although it may be little useless for native speakers, it’s a real gem for me, because you can search for everything way faster than in some online or printed dictionary.

I hastily require the use of this benevolent program. My tongue is an atrocious defamation of the English language.
    Bring the Torrent forthwith!

Thanks, I appreciate this torrent. I’ve been getting tired of all the rap music and stupid animated tv program reviews.

Looks interesting, I could probably inprove my language skills since I kind of ignored them in school and to look smarter when I’m around my friends.

The paper version of this dictionary is just great, unfortunately this application is quite awful. Not only has it terrible user interface, but it also requires that you install Quicktime to be able to hear pronunciation. And it doesn’t work with latest Quictime version, you have to install the old version from CD. Nevertheless, the content of the dictionary beats all these negative features.

    I get this error:

The procedure entry point BASS_ChannelGetFlasgs could not be located in the dynamic library bass.dll.

Any help ? I wanna get this for my parents since they can’t go to nightschool anymore and they want to learn english.

Ok, so I tried fixing it by re-isntall and stuff, and nothing .. but now, when I try to completely remove it, it won’t because it leaves an iehelp.dll .. I’ve done some searching, and apparently it’s a worm O_o

I hope this wasn’t an infected file or anything.

The file that I can’t delete is iehelp.dll
