Hi guys… Hav downloaded COJ and hav mounted it using Daemon tools and tried to start it using Securom but still get de error msg asking me to use an original dvd. Wat do I do… Was trying to oprn COJ.exe file with Securom is dat right..

Guys, I have a rather weird problem. I fire up the game, everything works great, but the menu is completely messed up with options shown as something like _menu_main_options_… and when I start the game, my objective is shown as sth like _player_obj_00001_… instead of the objective itself. Anyone else encountered this crappy problem?

for those getting the serial number incorrect error when launching coj.exe, go to the windows registry and add this key:
hklm/software/techland/CallOfJuarez
SerialNumber=RKYRT-9FACF-YE9AA-E9XCF-ECF9Y

Can anyone help? I downloaded the COJ reloaded image file, installed with Daemon tools. Downloaded every crack there is and nothing works – comes up with the message “Your serial number is incorrect, install again” – I tried with the serial provided by RELOADED and then 3 different serials and it still doesnt work:

Its been 3 months since Mini Mal posted, I’m sure he/she has sorted out the problem.
lulz at Rapidshare or limewire as a viable alternative for BitTorrent. Rapidshare is hardly an effective way to download large files. And I would only use Limewire to download trojans and worms. Retort and/or flame if you want (your post sounds like you would) I won’t respond, I just thought it was funny.

Might as well talk about the game, seeing as I’m here. I downloaded and installed the RELOADED version on my laptop. I ran it but my screen kept flickering, possibly due to the dual video cards. I decided I couldn’t be bothered to troubleshoot or fix it, so I uninstalled. Good times.

Mini Mal firstly Bit-Torrent is rubbish, if your’re gonna use something, use rapidshare or limewire. Why do you want to mess around with peers and seeds? Its like using linux, unix sucks. If unix was so good, all the small businesses and majority of family PC’s would be using it.

im having a bit of trouble with the download. im using utorrent 1.6 and its got to 99.9% of the file (call.of.juarez-RELOADED) and its not going any further. im connected to 11 peers but all the seeds have dissapeared! is that the problem, that thee are no seeds? is sum1 trying to piss me off by letting me donload 99.9% then removing the torrent? this is really annoying as i havent played a good western for time and was looking forward to coj. am i just being stupid? or is the file corrupt? can someone give me some insight as to whats going on please? it would be very much appreciated, thanks, Mini Mal

just for the sake of people who are insufferably clueless about everything that has been said could somebody please describe, somewhat step by step what to do if you try to play the game and the screen comes up black and freezes…
I’m really sorry but I do not know what cracks are, nor how you use them, same thing for deamon tools and RELOADED etc etc, it’s a whole different language to me I’m afraid.

Please help because it seems to be a pretty common problem… Thanks so much!

Hi my name is gab, and ive got a reloaded version. To run the game i had to install with the disk then put the crack then mount the image to get it working lol.
My problem is that when i run the game, the image is seriously messed up. Not the loading screens, just the actual game. It appears hazy and the colours have a weird tint. Pls help
