Here we have the release of the PC version of one of the most wanted game this year, we posted the 360 version a little while ago and now you guys could enjoy this on your PC. Released by RELOADED, so you know your in good hands. Enjoy!

The story focuses on the final battles of World War II in the Pacific and Eastern Europe involving the United States, the Empire of Japan, the Soviet Union, and Nazi Germany. It is told from the perspectives of a Marine Raider and a Red Army soldier, and is based on several historical battles, including the Makin Island raid, the Battle of Peleliu, and the Battle of Berlin.

The multiplayer portion of the game contains various game modes, and contains a leveling system that allows the player to unlock additional weapons and rewards as they progress, which was originally implemented in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. A new feature to the Call of Duty series is the co-op mode, which can support up to four players online and two offline.

World at War will feature a more mature theme than previous installments in the series. Swimming will be introduced to the series. While in water, the player cannot sprint and will only move at half speed. Flamethrowers, introduced in Call of Duty: United Offensive, will appear alongside flammable environments. Vehicles (i.e. Tanks) will also be reintroduced in this edition of Call of Duty. The game will be more open-ended than previous games in the series, as there will be multiple ways to complete objectives.

    I cant even start the game on solo, I dont understand why, I select the level of difficulty and nothing, no crash or nothing, just back to the solo menu.
    Then I go and select a mission, again, level of difficulty and nothing, back to the solo menu without anything else.

    It doesnt crash, it just doesnt load the game.

    if you got the problem with
    Error: Could not load material “water_droplet”.
    Error: Could not load material “water_dynamic_spray”
    change your sound on 24 or 16 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality).
    if it still doesnt works .. just try to install the direct X from the mounted CD, ( folder: mounted img…/directX/DXSETUP.exe )
    it finally works at my computer.

    Still having problems, as soon as I finish mission 2 its starts loading mission 3 but when it finishes the game hangs on the black screen. I can hear dialog boxes popping up but I cant alt-tab to read them and I have to manually restart my computer to get out of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Not to sure what everyone is talking about in regards to this “texture” thing. I have played past mission 3 with no problems thus far. Also, I went into the install directory and moved all the Bink videos into another folder because it was apparently lagging my system when trying to load them. Now I just go into the game and press Esc key / left mouse button when I’m trying to start a new mission (black screen) and it works, no problem.

    As with several previous posts, after choosing Solo game and picking a difficulty level, game does not start but goes back to main menu.

    Any ideas on a fix would be much appreciated???

    Make sure you didnt let the game get access to internet. If u did:

    1. reinstall
    2. make sure the game doesnt have access to intenet (firewall)
    3. go to directory where profiles are stored
    4. delete all profiles
    5. create directory with the name you want to use for your profile
    6. in the directory where profiles are stored create file called active.txt. in this file, enter the name of your profile and save
    7. play the game
    8. you will probably still have problems with starting the game/levels because of lousy crack/developers work (recomend moving all videos (*.bik) to different directory. Move them back when new crack for 1.1 comes live)
    9. Hope it helps

    173 PC Gamer:

    Take a look at Far Cry 2, while the general gameplay seems to have no consequence it does wrap up REALLY interestingly.

    With all the driving, forget most of the side missions, and when looking for diamonds just do a quick scan and if it seems to hard, leave it since you usually only get 1 (3max real rare)

    Believe it or not try the sound fix (lower it to 24/4800).

    All I could get was black-title-black crash, there was NO way to relate it to sound, no detailed error message.

    I think my system hates playing game, FC2-could get 20-30m before it would crash, RA3-takes a while, and no way to upgrade-tried with the patch/crack, failed at verification.

    Now CoD5, strange thing is my system is NOT O/C, and not a unusual setup

    ok here is a quick fix for the sound issues on windows xp sp3. i too dont have the unimodem blah blah visible in my system hardware.

    i have installed the latest 1.1 patch and that did nothing. so i went into the audio properties and adjusted the hardware acceleration to basic (the 2nd one from the left of the 4 available) and that did the trick. entered the game and the audio sounds fine. cant really tell what is missing but at least the audio is playing fine now.

    If you are getting a missing textures error it is nothing to do with a bad download.

    It likely has to do with your Nvidia drivers, especially if you are running a Geforce 8x series card. Use older driver version 6.14.11.7516 and it will work.

    I dowloaded Call of Duty World at War Reloaded and the pack from post #303 and I still get the “Fastfile for zone ‘code_post_gfx’ is corrupt or unreadable” error. My VGA drivers are updated.
    I’ve Win XP SP3 and an MSI 8800GTS 320Mb OC edition.
    Can someone help me please!

    hay all thanks for the difficulty hanging help! i got this late and now im realizing the multiplayer cracks dont work at all.. punkbuster kicks after about 30 seconds saying corrupted file/memory. if anyone is still playing in cracked servers please let us all know.

    If you guys use the unlocker, you can skip level 3 (which is the only level that doesn’t work). the rest of the game is fine, and it is awesome

    only single player needs cracked.. dont even think about downloading any cracks for multiplayer only servers need a crack. just use a keygen if you get a duplicate cd key in use error and use xfire to connect to a server with mp.

    if you host a game in coop turn off punkbuster is it will detect the modified exe and kick you.

    Hey,

    Does any1 know how to fix this:

    I create a profile using the active.txt method…. start the game, join a server and play… BUT, if i close and start the game again i have to create the profile again in the active.txt

    Im using vista 64 bit… it works fine on 32 bit but i get this problem on 64bit.

    Anyone know a fix ?????

    What puzzling with the texture load error that many report is that many people report the game is working so how can it be “nuked” if people are running it? I have download three different rips with the same problem. It must be a system compatibility problem

    hey guys, hopefully one you can help. when i install and copy paste the crack and try to run single player, i get the following message: “the image file CoDWaW.exe is valid, but is for a machine type other than the current machine.” i am running XP pro x64. i have tried other cracks out there but same thing… what can you tell me how to fix this??

    Same issue here. Cannot even start the game. Clicking on any of the difficulty levels just goes back to menu. There is no option to start the game either on Solo or Level Select.

    I had the problem with starting the game too. After selecting difficulty, nothing happens. I tried going offline and starting the game again, and it worked fine! Maybe blocking the game with your firewall will work too.

    If you cannot start a new game, try the following:

    “go to run , type regedit and navigate to the folowing
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Activision/Call of duty WAW – as we can see the codkey
    i was using the codekey mpc8-md8p-78p1-75du-890f i changed the codekey
    to a different key like wmdl5ew1met71ew54b73 i then restarted the game and
    it asked me to create a profile , i selected no many times and Boom it worked”

    Hi guys,

    AT LAST ! I have launched COD WAW on my Windows XP Pro SP3 x86 OS ! Laughing I just wanted to share with you how I did it.
    I had the problem that COD WAW didn't run at all. Only error message was appearing and that's all:

    Error: Could not load material "water_droplet".
    Error: Could not load material "water_dynamic_spray".
    —– sound system initialization —–
    Waiting for $init to finish. There way be assets missing from code_post_gfx.
    Error during initialization:
    Unhandled exception caught"
    SOLUTION OF: Waiting for $init to finish. There may be assets missing from code_post_gfx. !!!!!
    THIS IS WORKING!!!

    I have tried to update Directx 9.0c August, new video drivers and it didn't help. Then I went to Control Panel / Phone and Modem Options and removed 2 modems which drivers were installed long time ago but there were no modems in my PC. Then I went to Network Connections and I removed DIALUP Connection and VPN connections, enabled 1394 connection and that's all.

    Good luck to those ppl who can't make that buged game to launch.

    Hey guys. I couldn’t get it working with Windows 7/64. Had the same “water droplet” errors discussed. Tried this fix:If you’re on Windows Vista, go into:
    Playback Devices > Speakers > Properties > Advanced
    Then change your Default Format to: 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality). Now it works GREAT! Thanks to the original poster for this! I received the punk buster error after I started the game, but I don’t do multiplayer so I just canceled and played solo! LOVE THE COD! THANKS!

    When i try to start a new game and choose the difficulty level nothing happens even with the latest update and proper crack.

    Nick Kusters “Profile Fix” totally saved the day for me (I’m using Win7).

    What a strange, seemingly insurmountable bug.

    Now the game is actually playable!

    that is the no-profile bug I was refering to in the post directly above.

    Look for the link Nick Kusters provides on page 4 (I think) and download and run his app.

    Problem solved.
