I didn't figure it out at first, but after wiggling around a bit I came to something:
Install codwaw on 2 computers (I'm going from the 2-comp perspective here…)
On the host computer get the crack, but don't delete the original file, just get the crack next to the original file (name it '*name* [cr].exe' or something)
On the join computer get this crack: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?aynkkzunnyn
Then apply this patch on both computers: http://www.gamershell.com/download_35712.shtml
Make sure that the crack file on the host comp is accepted by the firewall.
Now run the crack file on the host comp and the lanfix you downloaded earlier from mediafire on the join comp.
This should get rid of the 'This game session is no longer available' error…

After being prompted to create a username on COD WaW mp, it starts feeding me a loop after entering a user name. Does anyone know how to rectify this problem???

guys, i installed my copy.. then copied the crack as usual.. but i cant freaking start any solo game.. it just lets me select the difficulty.. it wont proceed.. any clues?

Hey guys. I'm new to this kinda stuff, bought the game and tried to play LAN co-op with a friend but says cd key in use. Can someone help me make it work? I don't wanna have to buy another new copy just to play it with a mate. Thanks

I can use lanfix for coop LAN game because same cd key was used on 4 PCs w/ ver 1.0 I installed 1.1 and zombie mods w/ new keys from keygen but now I'm getting same key in use despite reg showing different keys. Please help me get past this same key in use problem

i found a fix for co op lan. i tired it myself when i brought my rig to my buddys. works but only for co op lan gets rid of the same key problem

Hmm we don’t need an online profile… Just a profile to work on Multiplayer Lan Games… cause or achievements doesn’t get saved without profiles

only single player needs cracked.. dont even think about downloading any cracks for multiplayer only servers need a crack. just use a keygen if you get a duplicate cd key in use error and use xfire to connect to a server with mp.

if you host a game in coop turn off punkbuster is it will detect the modified exe and kick you.

oh and…
YOU CAN PLAY ON MULTIPLAYER PUNKBUSER SERVERS
with the origional exe (meaning dont use the private server patch if your trying to connect to the server)

we had the same problem as others with message “game session is no longer available” , but hamachi 1.0.1.5 figured it out
