Call Of Duty 4-Razor1911

First off sorry for posting another article so quickly after another but i thought that this game deserves it. Now to the release… Razor1911 are back and not a moment to soon. They have released Call of Duty 4 one of the most anticipated games of the year, fully cracked, moments after the PROCYON CLONE. It’s good to see Razo1911 back cracking games after being dormant for a while. The crack looks fine so i don’t expect any PROPERs or CRACKFIXes, it’s Razor quality ;) . Enjoy this excellent game without any emulation, thanks to Razor1911! More info on COD4 can be found in my previous post.

    For those having sound issues. (My problem was normal environmental sounds, but no personal weapons sounds and very low intro/direct speech sounds.)
    The below worked for me (just used the “setting to basic one”} with XP and an Audigy 4:

    Following Quoted from Activision site:

    I am encountering sound problems or I am getting no sound in the game.

    Answer
    Make sure that you meet the minimum system requirements.

    Make sure you have the latest video and sound card drivers from the manufacturers’ websites.

    All background applications must be shutdown prior to running the game.

    Turn the hardware acceleration for your sound card to Basic.
    1) Click the Start button > Settings > Control Panel.
    2) Double-click on the Multimedia icon.
    3) Select the Audio tab.
    4) Click on the Advanced Properties button in the Playback section.
    5) Click on the Performance tab.
    6) Reduce the Hardware acceleration to Basic, the 2nd notch from the left.
    7) Click Apply and then OK 2 times. Run the game now. Don’t forget to turn the acceleration back up to restore the high-end features for your sound card when using other applications.

    NOTE: For Windows XP
    1) Click the Start button > Settings > Control Panel.
    2) Double-click the Sounds and Audio Devices icon.
    3) Click the Volume tab.
    4) Under Speaker settings, click the Advanced button.
    5) Click the Performance tab.

    If anyone wants to play, enable the console and press ~ run this command, /connect -CRACKED SERVER IP ADDRESS- and GAME ON!!!

    For those of you who experience problems with running the game (the game suddenly crashes after the intro movie) do this :

    Go to your game install dir (Default C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare) enter folder “miles” and change the mssmp3.asi file to mssmp3.dat , after that the game should not exit with that stupid error. (found this thanks to amz)

    i downloaded 1-33 and 35-37 parts from file factory.
    i cant download the 34.
    my question is :
    the file factory file size is 95.37, but i found the 34 part with 95.36 size(other site,not file factory)… is it really matter ?
    i hope no….

    PLEASE HELP- I´ve got all 68 files, managed to start to unrar them to .iso file but then get this error: “you need following volume to continue extraction”- rzr-cod4.001.r00. Can anyone help?? Thanks. :)

    SID79 do this:

    1. Open WinRAR.
    2. Go to ‘Options’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Integration’ tab.
    3. At the bottom you will see ‘User defined archive extensions’.
    In this field start typing: 001 002 003 004 005 006… All the way to 068. Then click ‘OK’
    4. Go to the folder where your 68 files are. They are now all rar files. Right click part ‘001′ and ‘Extract Here’.

    Do not rename the files “.rar”

    Hey guys, im getting an error after some missions… When i load the next mission my screen turns black and i get an error message about iw3sp.exe :( But i can hear the voices still going on in the background. I used the Razor1911 version, and also the crack. Does anyone else have this problem?

    Dont know why everyone complaining about torrents they suck. Use Strong DC++ dl`ed it in 5 hours …lol torrents give me a break…. And i ran it on a gf 6200 low profile card p4 1.3-2.0 overclocked and the card overclocked game was maxed ran fine.

    An NFO file is simply a file that contains details or iNFOrmation about a particular download. It’s basically a ‘readme’ file. That’s all.
    There are a number of ways you could obtain let’s say, Call of Duty 4 for instance. You could download a Call of Duty 4 ‘torrent’. In order to do this, you would need a program like BitTorrent, uTorrent, etc. You can learn about torrents here> http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-download-torrents/
    It’s amazing what one can learn with a simple Google search.

    Personally I don’t download torrents. I obtain all my ‘goodies’ through Rapidshare, Megaupload, Depositfiles, etc. links. These links can be found all over the net. Try a Google search like ‘call of duty 4 rapidshare’, or ‘metallica rapidshare’, whatever it may be. Almost anything you want is out there for the taking. Happy hunting. ;)

    I won’t ruin this with any spoilers, but I must say the ending of this game is the best of call the Call of Duty series and Medal of Honor series put together. Although the single player is short 8 – 12 hours, it is a fun and suprisingly emotional rollercoaster ride.

    There are two events in the game that will evoke a bit of emotion from you unlike any shooter this year.

    ********POSSIBLE SPOILER BELOW **********

    When you’ve completed the game let the credits roll, there is an additional mission afterwards that unlocks arcade mode.

    How do I extract these files when they’re not even labeled in RAR format. They don’t even start out as .00. They start out as .01 and from there up. Don’t I need the file .00 in order to extract these?

    Usually with file extensions .001, .002, .003, etc; you would use a program called HjSplit to rejoin the files into 1 file. However, HjSplit did not work for me with CoD 4.
    Doing the following worked great though…

    1. Open WinRAR.
    2. Go to ‘Options’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Integration’ tab.
    3. At the bottom you will see ‘User defined archive extensions’.
    In this field start typing: 001 002 003 004 005 006… All the way to 068. Then click ‘OK’
    4. Go to the folder where your 68 files are. Now they all are associated with winrar and have winrar icons. Right click part ‘001′ and ‘Extract Here’.

    Do not rename the files “.rar”

    And I agree, that would have been a whole lot easier, if the method you stated actually worked. It didn’t; not for me, nor countless others I have since seen. After HjSplit failed, and it never has, that was the first thing I tried. Didn’t work. Wasn’t until I found SID79’s comment up above here (thanks dude!) that I was able to unpack my iso. As crazy as it looks, it worked; where all else failed.

    Are you saying you added a .rar extension to the end of .001? Like this> ‘filename.001.rar’ ? If this is true, you could try this…
    Go to ‘Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab’ and untick the ‘Hide extensions for known file types’ box and click ‘Apply’. Now you should be able to see the .rar extensions on your files. You can try removing the rar extensions, hopefully restoring your files to their original state. I’m pretty sure they will be ok but I can’t say with 100% certainty that your files will not be considered damaged if you remove the .rar extensions. I can only say that I have just tried what I have stated here and although I received a prompt each time I removed a rar extension (saying that “the file may become unusable if I change this”) everything turned out just fine. Your call. Good luck.

    I am using WinRAR v3.70. At the very bottom of the ‘Integration tab’ is where ‘User defined archive extensions’ can be found. There is a field in which you can type.

    And finally… anyone else download from the megaupload links above? Was it indeed missing part58 as dv stated in comment #388?

    I have tried every concievable combination of selective replacement with these files, but the instruction was very vague and I have no idea what files I should be replacing in there.

    “Copy the crack file over the original files” simply means to “replace the original exe that launches the game, with the cracked exe”. To do this…

    Make a copy of the crack (iw3sp.exe). Now go to your Call of Duty 4 main install directory (the folder where your game is installed, where the exe that launches the game is located) and paste it there. You will get a message telling you that ‘iw3sp.exe’ already exists here and asking if you’d like to overwrite (replace) it. Click ‘yes’. Done.
    But before you do this, you should make a backup of the original ‘iw3sp.exe’. You will need it if you choose to apply update patches in the future. You can’t patch a cracked exe.

    Thanks skreed, I am making some progress here.

    But I still have an issue: I copied the iw3sp.exe crack file and replaced the original file with it, as well as tossed the rzr-cd4f.sfv file in the directory, but when I try to play the game is very unstable and constantly dumps me to the desktop with an error “click OK to terminate the program.”

    Any idea what I’m doing wrong here?

    Nice work. You have fixed your problem it seems. Some people have had that same random crashing, so it’s nothing you have done wrong as I’m sure you now understand. ‘Renaming the mssmp3.asi’ is one of the crash fixes that has worked for many so congrats on finding that. The .sfv file has nothing to do with any function of the crack and can be removed from your Call of Duty 4 directory.
    An sfv file is a file which you could use in conjunction with a checksum utility to verify the integrity of the files you have downloaded. Odds are, you will never need it. Enjoy the game!

    @ Layzer

    What you are referring to is a ‘Key’ that you have generated with a keygen, not a crack. You cannot play multiplayer online with a key that you have generated with a keygen, as you have found. That’s the first rule of game piracy.

    Your only hope of online play is a cracked server. Here are a few Cracked Server lists I found with a quick Google seach (hint hint), followed by instruction on how to join a cracked server (not my words). Try it out. Good luck.

    Make sure Punk Buster is installed and enabled! You’ll need it for almost every server out there. Have a great time!
