CAKEWALK MUSIC CREATOR V4 DVD-ADDICTION
A few hours ago ADDICTION released a very interesting useful application, well at least to the musically creative called CAKEWALK MUSIC CREATOR V4. CAKEWALK are a company famous for there SONAR range of professional music creation programs and as this app comes from the same company you you can expect a lot of of the same great design and powerful features, just toned down to allow less advanced users creating music in a jiffy! Seriously almost as soon as you finish the setup you will be making tunes in no time. This app allows you to record, edit, arrange, mix and much more from a few easy to user interfaces. Even though this is designed for non professionals don’t be fooled into thinking it cant make some seriously nice sounding music. If your interested in creating music or just getting started in audio creation this app can be a great stepping stone allowing you to get used to audio production and then if you need to you can move on to industry standard software. I personally think that if you just like messing around with creating music, a keen amateur etc this will more than fill your needs as going straight to industry standard software can be downright confusing, expensive (hardware) and requires you download (or/and install) a lot more GB’s and that’s just the app if you want extra sound modules your talking a lot more money and loads more GB’s. This app comes in on 1 CD with a keygen created by group EMBRACE to enable you to register to the product for free! I always though that ADDICTION were a games only group, but as they have come out with this release i guess not (nothing wrong with branching out) and i really like the cooperation between two groups, i wish we saw more of this in the scene and less flaming (but i guess flaming comes hand in hand with competition). PRODUCT audition is quality just git a vst like waves dimond bundle to use for mastering… protools is a pc app to you just have to git hardware that supports protools like mbox and i heard that some the new preamps from m-audio support protools as well look up protools on http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ and you will see most the hardware compatible with pro tools.. great release tho and props on the demoniod link wish they would reopen memberships..

noz use winrar turn it on and use the wizard set it to all filetypes and use it on the 001 file and your done..

garrrbage!!!!! cakewalk makes horrible products… if you want a good app for music… Reason is the only way to go… its limitless!!!
Yo I work in music production and I can honestly Cakewalk (Sonar etc) is good stuff (having actually used it in production environment) but us real producers use pro stuff- we use Cubase + Reason (and a few VSTi’s) problem with Cakewalk is lack of VST support (unless they do that now) and also bad latency and performance when yo have a lot of audio tracks with FX busses…
anyway this program is really geared at home enthusiasts not pros.

I liked demonoid before the whole invite thing. They have good stuff, but it is uneless to me until someone that actually has a invite there releases to MN or BTJ or someone else that doesn’t require a stupid code.

Section eight: “limitless”, you mean besides the fact that reason can’t even record audio or make ridiculously simple TIME SIGNATURE changes in a song?? LOOOOOOL OMG OMG OMG. thank god for rewire, because without it, reason would be completely unusable for us real producers.

If you ask me, the best DAWs to use is FL studio with Live (Rewired) and Sony sound forge for mastering. Hard to beat that setup. Who’s to say this Cakewalk studio isnt for pros? It definitly isnt what you use but how you use it and having a little creativity can go a long way. Oh and try picking up a cheap midi keyboard like m-audio Oxygen 8v2 or something to really get a bit more out of the program.

@ 30 dudeboy…. i got my reason 3.0 rewired into pro tools 7.1… with countless other pieces of equipment on my rack these days…. reason is honestly the best software i’ve ever used in music production… rewired into pro tools that is… and if you’re using more than 2 VST’s to make a track… you dont need to be producing….
