The fifth entry in the gonzo racing series, Burnout Paradise gives players license to wreak havoc in Paradise City, the ultimate racing battleground, with a massive infrastructure of traffic-heavy roads to abuse. Gone is the need to jump in and out of menus and aimlessly search for fun like many open world games; in Burnout Paradise, every inch of the world is built to deliver heart-stopping Burnout-style gameplay. Every intersection is a potential crash junction and every alleyway is an opportunity to rack up moving violations.

Burnout Paradise debuts on PC platforms in the form of a special edition release that includes all the gameplay of the award-winning Burnout Paradise game plus the previously-released Burnout Paradise Cagney and Burnout Paradise Bikes content updates, and the brand new Burnout Paradise Party content. Burnout Paradise Party is an offline multiplayer mode designed to allow up to eight friends to “pass-the-pad” in dozens of Burnout challenges.

    Burnout Paradise (formerly known as Burnout 6) by Criterion Games is the
    seventh game in the Burnout video game series. It was released in January
    2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was also released on the PlayStation
    Store in September 2008 and will be available on Microsoft Windows from
    February 2009. It has an open world set in the fictional Paradise City, with
    no loading times and no traditional online lobbies or game menus. The song
    "Paradise City" by Guns N' Roses is the game's title music and also featured
    on the in-game soundtrack.

    The "consles" versions are bigger because consoles are built with less Random Access Memory (RAM). The PC version is just as big, but only when you play it. Look at Far Cry 2, it's the same thing. This is the difference between a good port and a bad port. Sure, there are games that have to be just as big on PC (GTA 4 has over 6 GB of audio alone on PC, you can't compress that without quality loss) but for the most part it's just bad code that only makes it harder for the game to run (I'm looking at you Saints Row 2).

    Guys u can play online with the reloaded version but i don't know if it's safe so try at your own risk.I've been playing just for a couple of hours and i think that Paradise is easier than the other titles of the series i played. I hope that once my drive license will rise the races will become harder

    As mentioned, press "ESC" then keep pressing F1 till you get to a menu that allows you to Save & Quit

    I like the fact I can press my "Launch media player" button to minimise the game and it doesn't crash.

    I've never played this franchise before but this looks fun. If I like it I'll definitely buy it, good games that don't mess with your system with stupid protection devices are well worth supporting.

These are THE Best graphics for Any car racing game ive ever seen.Whether its playing in dx10 mode? or whether its HDR rendering thats responsible, the graphics are truly Freaking Awesome!     - custom controls are easy to set up.
    - access menu with "Esc" and F1 and F2 to cycle thru menu.
    - best racing game graphic ever… can't believe my laptop (Gateway M-6864FX) can handle it at the highest of level (highest setting w/ 4xAA… it can do 8xAA too but 4x feels a bit smoother so i'm sticking with it). I was expecting low setting for smoothest play and medium playable, but damnnn… don't know what rendering technique this thing uses but it's amazing.
    - by far the best racing game out there to date… great gameplay and stunning gfx.

    @154 Everything works fine for me, I installed on 2 pc's with windows xp, so far so good. Run the patch & then put the .exe in the installation folder (program files/electronic arts)…

    my potent pad controller wasnt showing up, but if you goto the control options, and pick car controls, then select 'steerleft' for example, and hit Enter, it gives u an option to bind a key to left steer control. i moved the trigger left and it found my controller. i then remapped all the keys this way. my controller works now.

    whoever keeps saying this has better graphics than grid is smoking some crack, I have it maxed out at 1920×1080 and it doesnt even come close to grid, the cars graphics are pretty good but the environment and overall realism & detail isnt anywhere near grids.

    And the game is pointless without c0ckpit or hood view its just another mediocre bang em up arcade racer.

    I will definatly let you all here know if and when I find out a way to fix the controller problem,But as of now all I can say is that it probrabaly works only with wired controllers,not wireless unless you use another program like xpadder.

    As far as I know its just a fluke,so lets all contribute to the cuase and help all as nessicary.;)

    Just tested the game and I must say WhooHooo, glad there is finally a version on PC.
    The XBOX 360 Wireless Controller works fine by me, put the controller "on" before you start the game and start the game as "administrator" you can swap menus on the LB and RB but first you'll have to push "start".

    One thing I'll need to know, can you switch Users? Because my son would like to play the game eather and it would be great if he could play with his own account?

    Okay Logitech wireless controllers dont work at all, at least not for now. I have tried 2 types of wireless logitech's with no luck. I have tried Xpadder & that doesn't work either. I guess I will go pick up a hard wired controller.

    Hey guys,I also have mine working perfect now.All you do for the controller to work is #1,have it on before game start if its wireless,and #2,go into the options screen and find controlls,once ther you press the trigger buttons or analouge sticks to make the controller come onto the set list of controllers.

    Just set up your controller the way that you would feel comfortable with and voilà,ther you have it!

    Run the game in compatibility mode set up the video options and whatever, then exit the game and run it as normal… works for me :-/.

    My game used to crash but I fixed it by renaming the exe file to MassEffect.exe (It's a trick so that you can enable crossfire mode if you have it (I own a 4870×2)), it also boosted my performance, so if you have a crossfire setup or an 4870×2 or similar this might fix things for you.

    Damn ! First impression, during 5 minutes, the game looked like a mix of Flatout 2 and L.A.Rush.

    30 Mn later : how wrong i was ! This game is pretty cool, can't stop playing it ! Nice graphics, good arcade style (i tried a lot of games, Grid, every NFS including my favourite one Most Wanted, Toca Racer, and some other ones more realistics), and i'm having a LOT of fun. And that's the point, most racing games does bore me.

    yeah after about 10-30 minutes of play the game will hard-lock my machine and scramble the screen. system temp is fine, all other games run great. not sure if this is a copy protection thing or what. tends to happen during massive collisons, usually slow-mo head on crumple shots. very peculiar since the game over all runs flawlessly on my machine. running maxed settings (4x AA tho) on a 8800 GT X2800+ 2g of ram. latest nvidia drivers. (one time my machine just shut off completely while playing.)

    Ya downloading the trial is the best route, I download it in about an hour and 15 minutes, but I haven't been having any hardware issues in the 7 hours that I've played, although it took me forever to find the restart option (numpad 6 and then numpad 2 to scroll down) because i thought it would be in one of the regular menus.

    controlling the bikes with G25 is totally awesome in comparison with onther games(BTW he sound is just stunning!),the rider even hops one leg if you do wheelie spins. The cars react really good,I manage to drive precisely everywhere i can fit. the motion blur is post process as in most other games,but at least it doesn't feel NFS-fake. GRID still has the best motion blur ever,because it's that perfect you don't notice it.
    the lights in night and water on lake look terribly,but that is small to the greatness of the game.
    performance is unbelievable(i mean the textures are so hi-def and uncompressed, even little stop sticker on rear bumper of truck is)

    for 4,5hrs straight………

    Have flagged a total of 19 Virus hits using AVG after using the keygen. Just wish I could remember which torrent listing I used. No way they were all false positives.

    I have an ISO with the disc title "20090113_152055" which has no viruses. I scanned the DVD and the install with 2 online scanners and 2 PC scanners all result in a clean bill of health. (Trendmicro Housecall, Kaspersky Online, NOD32, Antivir). What scanner did you use?

    crack works fine if you follow the instructions.. just dont install the 1100 update, this crack only works on the 1001 update.. no new crack so far :(
    you can still play local, just not online, which is half the fun.

    need a crack for v1.100, was a great game but cannot play online if you apply the patch. I'm pretty sure you can't even start the game if you switch to v1.100.

    Really, no 1.10 crack? That is embarrassing. The patch fixes most of the errors/bugs/UI components that are missing in the game. I sincerely hope they are able to crack it.
