The movie stars Brad Pitt and is directed by the people who directed No country for old men, the Coen brothers. The rating is pretty good, especially for a comedy. What are the differences of quality between dvdrip (region 1) and r5 (region 5)? I google about this and read that dvdrip has better quality than r5 but it is not specified.

R5 are the same video quality as any other dvdrip. But its the audio that changes. the r5 audio is not in English. what people do is transfer the audio from a cam or other source and put it on the r5. presto, you have a nice r5 rip with English audio.

R5 is a dvd made from a Telecine and available in russia super cheap and early. The video, obviously, is not going to be DVD quality as it’s a TELECINE, which is packed as a dvd, then ripped.
Telecine quality, not dvdrip quality. It’s technically a dvdrip, but the dvd source was a telecine, not actually a retail dvd.
They look fine. You’d think the staff posting reviews about these would at least know what they are.

Don’t bother! This movie has to be the worst of 2008 and full of quality actors. What a disappointment. Now I know where the title comes from. Should be Burn before Viewing This DVD.

i enjoyed this movie. it was one movie i didnt really know what was going to happen next. it was a movie that splits from the average genre action movie. the actors have differentiated themselves into different acting roles. Finally an american film that doesnt put my brain to sleep. i think people are too a-customed to american films. most of which try to target a below-IQ range. so to watch a movie like this one with big name actors is a steep learning curve from the other type films. Great quality release and the russian subtitles would be nice, but arent needed.
