Buckcherry – Black Butterfly (2008)

Hard rockers Buckcherry are back with another new studio album, Black Butterfly, set for release next week.  (Seemingly) one time group ROCKNROLL is responsible for the rip.  While these guys had a very solid following in the 90s, with hits like “Lit Up”, “Ridin’”, and “For the Movies”, they really kind of exploded with their last album and “Crazy Bitch”.  Will this album have the same success?  Time will tell.  In the mean time, give it a listen.

Buckcherry is a Grammy-nominated Los Angeles, California hard rock band formed in 1995. The band released two albums, their eponymous debut and 2001’s Time Bomb, before dissolving in the summer of 2002. In 2005, Josh Todd (lead vocals) and Keith Nelson (guitar) formed a new band using the ‘Buckcherry’ moniker and released a new album on April 16, 2006 entitled 15. The album contained Buckcherry’s biggest crossover hits to date, “Crazy Bitch” and the band’s first Hot 100 top ten hit, “Sorry”.

Thanks!!! I didn’t know they had a new CD coming out. I saw them on their debut tour and they put on a kick @ss show! They are one of the best live bands I’ve seen.

(Off topic): Any word on AC/DC’s Black Ice. Someone is bugging the cr@p out of me about it. I read there were no pre-release copies being distributed. I’m assuming the torrents I see are fakes? BTW, Rock N Roll Train is not a good song at all. LOL! After all these years, since their last release, you would think they could come up with something more inspired. It’s almost embarassing.
