Here is the latest version of the popular media player “BS player”, i never tried it myself so i downloaded and gave it a go but i think ill stick to MPC and VLC player myself. Here it is for anyone that uses it though

in rar file it has setup.001 and .002 i used hjsplit but i couldnt setup it.
whats wrong?
It still needs codecs, it is’t like VLC but I think it is a very likable player.

It needs codecs yes, but when you start a video file, it automaticaly checks for codecs and downloads them itself in a few seconds…

KOREA MEDIA PLAYER is the best. Check it out and there is literally media it can’t play. IT PLAYS ANY MEDIA FILE
Very nice media player. I used it a lot a couple of years ago but MPC is much more “lighter” as an app. Still it has some very nice features that VLC and MPC lack, if you’re into this kinda stuff it’s probably the best media player app you can get your hands into.

BS Player is the best player for playing 1280×720p mkv files on netbooks (Intel Atom 1.6GHz, 1GB DDR2 RAM). Video playback is very smooth on fast moving scenes. Never had any problem.
Tried VLC Player on the said netbooks, stutters during fast moving scenes. Even worst on Windows Media Player 11. Audio lags behind the video.
BS Player is highly recommended for those using slower machines. Have been using the Free version. Haven’t tried the Pro version yet.

Even though KMPlayer (K-Multimedia Player) is from Korea, it is named after the original developer, YoungHuee Kang.
It has most codecs built in and is free.

Great little player, the Pro version offers network file buffering – which is great if you want to hook it up to an HTPC running on a slow network (i.e. mine).
Bought this software a year ago, cheers RLSLOG for letting me know about the new version. The “check for updates” website still thinks the latest version is 2.33.977.
I have tried to obtain a version of BS Player three times and as I recall, none of those times did I receive a valid program. I was beginning to think that it was a trick to catch noobs. I am still skeptical even though this is posted on RLSlog. One of the times I downloaded a virus of some sort, and had to reformat my OS drive…
So I guess I am just saying that this program is scary for me to try, and I think Media Player Classic works fine for me. I will stick to the Combined Community Codec Pack! Just download and install the media player classic part of it from the drop down menu in the installer.

Well anyone here who thinks this is better than KMPlayer? In what way?
Speed may be the only thing, I guess. But that’s only a possible argument if you use default built in codecs, even if it’s true (I don’t know). I haven’t tried KMPlayer on a under powered machine, though, to play HD or near HD content.
I can’t see how BSPlayer is any better than KMPlayer, which I use daily and can play all files i throw at it WITHOUT secretly downloading the codecs from the Internet. And it’s free! And portable. Etc…
Everyone here is comparing BSPlayer to other crap players out there, why doesn’t compare it to the KMPlayer? Because BSPlayer is inferrior to KMPlayer?
BSPlayer really IS top notch. I actually purchased the pro lite version as it was affordable and I felt like of the many programs I use it was worth paying for!
Some of the things I find unparalleled:
- pause with spacebar (the biggest key, easiest to hit when scrambling. Screw that Cntrl-P crap)
- jump forward back with arrow keys left/right
- volume up/down with arrow keys up/down
- ability to adjust subtitle offset (subs behind? adjust it!)
- network caching (load a 700Mb file into memory so no HD seek on laptops, cache on slow connections like WiFi)
- skinnable (the old skin allows for progress bar at bottom AND top!)
- very low CPU usage (doubt it is the lowest but very low nonetheless)
- JustWorks TM
Oh and with the recent deprecation the of the Pro Lite version I find myself here getting the full pro version unfortunately…in case you were wondering why I am here and if I am a shill for the company. I am not, just a proponent of bsplayer.
Oh Oh, I also laugh at VLC comments or WMC comments as being superior. The only thing that VLC has over mplayer is built-in codecs but that doesn’t make it any more robust. A combined community codec pack or k-lite coupled with bsplayer does even better than what VLC can do.
I’ve tried them all for years.
GOM Player is by far the best. Easily.
I know it’s probably false alarms, but some online scanners find trojan in keygen. Is it possible that someone that belives the keygen is clean, generate me serial and post it here? Thanks!
