BS Player Pro v2.27.959 Multilingual Incl. Keymaker-CORE

Here’s new version of BS Player, well known & popular commercial multimedia player. Personally i prefer freeware solutions: VLC & MPC. Also, one note, my Avast warned me about some trojan detected inside of keygen. I’ve scanned it on VirusTotal, here are the results. It’s up to you will you trust to CORE. (I think we can trust em, they are good and respectable group.)

Description:

Ever since the very beginning in the year 2000, the BS.Player™ has been one of the world’s most popular video player. It is popular for many reasons, one however should be pointed out: BS.Player™ is the first movie player ever to enable its users to focus on watching the movie instead of dealing with poor computer capabilities or running around looking for a proper setting and codec. Also, it has very low CPU and RAM requirements.

What does the BS.Player™ 2.27 PRO has to offer?

  • Customizable Equalizer
  • Support for Capture and Tuner devices (and Teletext support)
  • Capture Video from capture device to file
  • Integrated subtitle editor
  • Network file buffering
  • Support for Flash playback
  • Improved subtitles
  • Improved VMR9 support
  • DVD support (codecs required)

if you can speak polish i would recommend BESTplayer 2.02 instead
    http://www.bestplayer.com.pl/
+ it’s small and no installation, just exe
+ automatic subtitles downloading (witch strangely enough actually works!)
+ displays information about movie played (like imdb)

maybe there will be English support in the future, i don’t know

not a virus.. it’s just your cheap antivirus that detect the keygen because it was packed

lol axxo-fan, probably longer than you
and don’t you think that because of that if someone would want to put a trojan/virus keygen would be the perfect place?
even if it wasn’t there originally someone can easily put one in there, repack it, and post rapidshare link here…

    March 15th, 2008 | 16:22

I used the keygen in 2.24.954 release from Core, and works fine with 2.27 plus no virus alerts from Avast. So if you worry too much you can use the old keygen

Klite codec pack using MPC ftw! Works well with everything I through at it and is constantly updated and free. It’s just not modern looking but there may be skins? Who cares though if you watch movies in fullscreen. I also like the way it overlays subtitle fonts. (MPC that is)

Why dont you all just do the following:
    1. install Sandboxie, it’s already listed on this site.
    2. run the bsplayer keygen in sandboxie, copy/paste the serial into bsplayer.
    3. Delete the sandbox you ran the keygen in.

This way you’ll never need worry about getting an infected PC from the keygen.

Did they ever fix the Vista Aero interface problem with BSPlayer. BSPlayer was turning off Aero while playing. Use to be a good program, not so sure now. Last six months, there are so many issues I had to remove it.

If your worried about running software in case of trojans
try opening in a sandbox like sandboxie which if you search the forums also has a portable version for flash pen drives etc no need to run permanently and all files can be removed once finished although a good AV will still pickup trojans from within the sandbox

AVG sees viruses in pretty much any keygen I download these days (and I download a lot of them), and other anti-virus programs don’t look any better based on the posts I always read. On top of that, I occasionally see files that are truly infected not set off AVG warnings at all. Can’t really trust anti-virus programs 100% anymore.

If you want to play things safe (and you should!), you can use SandBoxie to run the keygen and any other suspicious apps you find. I’ve used it in the past, it’s a good program. Another good option, and the one I use these days, is a virtual machine. VM software is quickly becoming commonplace these days, with many paid for and free options currently available. I like VirtualBox, which is free for both Windows and Linux. If you have spare PC parts, that is another sandbox you can make use of.

BS Player is alright. I used it years ago, before I found something better. Currently I use Media Player Classic 6.4.9.1 (via Quicktime Alternative 2.4.0), CoreAVC 1.6.5.0 (with Haali 1.7.401.3, great renderer, esp. at reducing macro-blocking), XviD 1.1.3, and AC3Filter 1.43. I’ve tried VLC several times over the years, but MPC has consistently performed better stutter-wise on the HTPC I’m using, which is only borderline when it comes to decoding power, especially in regards to high-def content in x264.

    More bad news, I’m afraid:

Just downloaded from RapidShare. Seems like the actual installation has been tempered with. when you:
    right-click -> Properties -> Digital Signatures -> Select webteh d.o.o -> details
The certificate can’t be verified. Compared that with an older installation I had laying around which showed-up OK.

    FYI

so anyone actually have a non rapidshare link for this?
I don’t know how anyone is getting this malware ie. not a virus!
    I want it too!
I personally have always had great luck with CORE releases!
and always had antivirus try to tell me keygens are viral.
even relativly advanced pirates have told me that.
    doesn’t anyone read anymore?
malware is not viral, its just frowned upon progz by the antivirus maker.
so boycot that liar assed antivirus and get a decent one!

I have several keygens and all of them set off my avast anti-virus pro and they are not in fact viruses they just recently started getting seen as such after an update of my virus data base the code used to create the keygens seems suspicious to my antivirus so it trys to tag them as such but it’s just the antivirus over reacting

Keygen contains Trojan Downloader, which also do some entry in system registry so no false alarm its a real thread. Keygen from v2.26.956 is also infected. The one from v2.24.954 appears to by clean & OK.
