I have not tried this player, but I read somewhere that this does not use as many system resources as vlc or mpc. Does anyone know if this is true?
Reason for this question is I set up an old 500mhz cpu with 512mb ram and i stream movies over the network to a guest bedroom tv. VLC and MPC both stutter every few seconds during playback and i wanted to try and fix this without getting a new pc.

It’s hard to adjust the sub delay on VLC? I never found pressing ctrl, alt k or L very difficult myself…same with the audio delay….without the alt key.

This is very nice player but it doesn’t seem to work with embedded matroska subtitles (ass/ssa).

I installed the palyer and i entered a key,but when i open it and try to play something i have to enter a key again.I made different keys and i entered them several times but it doesnt work..seriously now,this is fukedup

I use Media PLayer Classic as it’s the only one I can get working to stream Dolby Digital 5.1 via S/PDIF on my Firewire soundcard.

Media Player 9 & 11, & VLC seem to want to downmix to stereo before outputting to S/PDIF. I’ve played around with every setting and installed AC3 Filter and still no go with the 5.1.

But Media Player Classic is jerky when playing back 720p HD WMV files. HD WMV plays fine using Windows Media Player 9 or 11 but yeah I can’t get 5.1 Dolby Digital via S/PDIF, the option is greyed out in the options dialog. I only get stereo audio via S/PDIF.

Would BS PLayer Pro help in this regard?

once you try KMplayer there will bee no need for enything else.
Plays everything, no bugs, many options.

Why i cannot save the modified subtitles in the subtitle editor?
BTW: This movie player is not bloated! Very fast rendering, useful for hi-def movies! KMPlayer is not that fast! I tried to run a 720p movie and it run only at 16fps instead of 25fps so I turn back to BSplayer! And one more thing: The version with adware is only the free one! This is not the case (PRO version)!

just get gomplayer from the gomplayer.com site its free and it looks way nicer than vlc
