BS Player Pro v2.20.949 Multilingual Incl Keymaker-CORE

A famous scene group CORE released a new version of popular BS Player Pro, a media player used mainly for watching movies. I stick with this application for years and I’m fully satisfied with it, there are all settings you can imagine and the user interface is really simple. It can be also used for playing mp3 files, but I would rather recommend application like WinAmp for this…

Ever since the very beginning in the year 2000, the BS.Player™ has been one of the world’s most popular video player. It is popular for many reasons, one however should be pointed out: BS.Player™ is the first movie player ever to enable its users to focus on watching the movie instead of dealing with poor computer capabilities or running around looking for a proper setting and codec. Also, it has very low CPU and RAM requirements.

BS.Player™ is used by more than 60 million computer users throughout the world and it has been translated into more than 90 languages. All the downloaded versions of our free player surpass the sum of all downloads of competitive players and payable solutions. Because it does not use much of the processing power it is suitable for all those who use slightly less capable computers. The multimedia playback has not been – and will never be – disturbed by any annoying technical problem, much too often experienced with software of this kind. Last but not least - BS.Player™  media player is a product for the world public, so it is equipped with a treasury of subtitle options which enable the users to watch video and audio files in many of the world’s languages.

The BS.Player™ 2.20 does not only play, but with the BS.MediaLibrary™ it also manages your multimedia content. Do you wish to create your own media compilation? It is as easy as it gets. You can sort the content in playlists, which enable you to work with files faster and more easily. Playlists may be created through the BS.MediaLibrary™ module or directly through the primary BS.Player™ 2.20  module.

Features of PRO version:

  • Customizable Equalizer
  • Support for Capture and Tuner devices (and Teletext support)
  • Capture Video from capture device to file
  • Integrated subtitle editor
  • Network file buffering
  • Support for Flash playback
  • Improved subtitles
  • Improved VMR9 support
  • Technical e-mail support
  • DVD support (codecs required)
  • Free one year subscription upgrade

decent software, im using it only for movies that have .sub files, because VLC does not shows the subs decently

  2. May 4th, 2007 | 11:12

I use this too… always.. altough the new version has some issues on the subtitles… for some reason CD2 has framerate problems… on all CD2 subtitles.. weird!

anyway, VLC is annoying and unlike BSplayer, it’s not a press to play software

I highly recommend Media Player Classic in combination with FFDShow (and AC3Filter if you watch AC3 encoded movies). It might take you 5 more minutes to install, but both the performance and the quality is excellent, and the player is extremely lightweight, even more so than BSPlayer.
For my not-so computer savy friends I recommend GOM Player btw.

    e.g hotkeys/video+audio-synth/subtitle-synchronizer

My 2 cents: Zoom Player all the way! VLC second best. MPC third best. BS Player forth.

The shit you get to do with Zoom player is where it’s at! Not only do you get to convenient zooming feature (duh! - but u can also choose what speed function u want), but also subs always work flawlessly, rerally good equalizer and also this Player lets you know if u’r missing any codecs and points you to the latest verions you need. Never had a problem with it and i’m using it for years! Try it and u’ll see!

after unpacking install and use the KeyGen

I believe VLC player to be the best. Why: wide range of formats to play, all using built in codecs which are all open; ability to use skins (babies who cry about that the default skin is shit, it is and that’s why there are skins) ; built in streaming support; works on ALL OS’s (the best part); little to none amount of exploits and quick bug fixes; good free support; wide array of keyboard shortcuts. All these other players are for windows, which does not make sense because not everyone uses windows.

  23. May 4th, 2007 | 15:43

For video, especially x264 HD, nothing beats Media Player Classic + CoreAVC (especially on a not so powerful system)

Just a heads up: Versions after the 1.38.828 come with adware. Google it for more info.

Sorry, I was talking about the free version.
I guess this is Pro without the adware.

My 2 cents: http://www.cccp-project.net/ (MPC and/or Zoomplayer included)

“It has been assembled by some of the most knowledgeable people in online”

  29. May 4th, 2007 | 17:00

vlc for hidef (BS cant handle it baby!)

    mpc for everything else.

    bs.player, installed tried and removed.

You all missed the greatest feature of all with this player: You can play anything directly from .rar -files without unpacking them first. Even seeking works (try that with unrar piped to mplayer/vlc or VLCRAAR etc). It will also work with subtitles as usual when playing from rar files. Go get it!

VLC rocks on both my Ubuntu and Mac. Why should I bother to look elsewhere ?

Spam protection: Sum of 5 + 8 ? … had to use my brain for that!

By the way, not many movie releases on rlslog since a few months… What’s that deal?

  32. May 4th, 2007 | 17:21

For years, I use 3 video players:
VLC, BS player and Zoom Player.
    VLC being the main choice.

Actually I use Zoom Player or BS player for presentations. It handles better playlists in my opinion. It is way more convenient to take screenshots. As the timeline in VLC is kinda retarded.
And yes, the subtitles are annoying in VLC if in separated files.
If the film has subs and come in 2cds, you will have to go to load the sub file in the middle of the film. Unlucky.

So VLC all the way? No not for me.

    GOMplayer all the way

Since the previous version another protection system is implemented, the player terminates after a few seconds even with a working k*yg*n. Before installing (I reinstalled 2.14 build 942), I would like to know if someone encountered this same problem with this version?

I tend to find that the guys that REALLY edit and convert videos always use Media Player Classic and VLC. Both have a small footprint but extensive configuration options. I tend to find that the prettier the interface, the less options and performance of the program. I’m an avid Overclocker and tend to use uglier but higher performance software. (Utorrent, MPC, VLC, OutPost Firewall, NOD/Kaspersky, RegSupreme Pro, VirtualDubMod ect)

Media Player Classic to movie You can do allmost anything with this.Media Player Classic combined with Divx 6.x codec gives a new boost to old and bad resolutions films. Use VLC and Zoomplayer with trouble.
and Foobar (18 _eightteen_ band equalizer) +++++ Best there is

VLC all the way - what do i like about it? –> Nice and simple, CPU friendly…i need a player that plays anything - no downloading codecs everyday!

    VLC position 1
    Media Player Classic 2

    for videos…

  40. Ray
    May 5th, 2007 | 03:54

VLC is ok, but only if all else fails, it is the best video player if all you want to do is play a file and WMP wont work… but vlc playback quality is mediocre if that, only becuase it uses its own standalone codecs…

but by far the best player is Media Player Classic… and anyone complaining about codecs and updates, etc.. should just download k-lite codec pack, MPC is also included with…

BS/BSPro is a waste of time, dont even use video software that you have to pay for, even if you can download cracks etc. and use it for free… unless of cause you have a mac, but even now, mplayer is good enough…

Only player I only downloaded that has a message of “includes spyware but it is good spyware so don’t worry”. Right… took a good hour to get rid of the “good” crappy extras. But this torrent is the Pro version. Would it be any different?

now to the question of 3+6= … (help me someone please I also love Norton!)
