Bringing Out The Dead 1999 iNTERNAL DVDRip XviD-UNDEAD

717e.jpgUNDEAD is back online with a new release of older “Bringing Out The Dead” staaring Nicolas Cage and directed by Oscar Winner Martin Scorsese. This might be one of the Nicolas Cage movies I have missed in the past and the right moment to grab. Group UNDEAD brings this in 2CD quality with Ac3 sound. From past releases I know that they always release good quality stuff, but this time their NFO file if just poor and I need to find the information by downloading the sample. If some of you have seen the movie, you can tell us your comments on it. Enjoy and have a nice Sunday midday.

Sirens screaming and lights flashing, a New York City ambulance speeds through the night. Its drivers are paramedics working the graveyard shift — men who come face-to-face with the dead and the dying on a daily basis. Burnt out from one too many nights on the job, they are nearly as broken as the bodies they haul through the streets. What keeps them going is their caustic sense of comedy, and an acrid view of a world which seems to have its surreal epicenter in Manhattan.

Nicolas Cage plays EMS paramedic Frank Pierce. It is the early 1990’s and New York has not yet undergone its renaissance of recent years. Surrounded by the injured and the dying, Frank is dwelling in an urban night-world, crumbling under the accumulated weight of too many years of saving and losing lives. The film follows Frank over the course of fifty-six hours in his life – two days and three nights on the job – as he reaches the very brink of spiritual collapse and redemption.

Are you kidding, Nic Cage is the kiss of death – he ruins almost every movie he gets involved in, has no taste – has no regard for the trashy movies he gets involved in. Just a simple whore – works for cash – no regard for quality work or his reputation. Shame really he had such a good start to his career.

ive seen it. to me it feels like one of those indie movies. in australia they’ve put it on tv a few times late at night. its about him driving around in an ambulance doing the late shift every night. he also meets a lady, (the acress from medium) and has an interest in her.. its not a block buster movie, but if you like films that arnt blunt you may like this

Frank is a Manhattan medic, working graveyard in a two-man ambulance team. He’s burned out, exhausted, seeing ghosts, especially a young woman he failed to save six months’ before, and no longer able to save people: he brings in the dead. We follow him for three nights, each with a different partner: Larry, who thinks about dinner, Marcus, who looks to Jesus, and Tom, who wallops people when work is slow. Frank befriends the daughter of a heart victim he brings in; she’s Mary, an ex-junkie, angry at her father but now hoping he’ll live. Frank tries to get fired, tries to quit, and keeps coming back, to work and to Mary, in need of his own rebirth.

…love this movie, it`s a touch weird mind but it`s worth it for the scene with the drug dealer/pimp guy being cut from the spikes on the building alone…

…it`s not really a “feel good” movie though….

…so if wierd/dark movies are your thing you should see it, you wont regret it!

    @ Bomb

Yeah he was great in Fast Times at Ridgemont High as Brads bud huh? LOL I bet you actually liked Raising Arizona too.

IMHO Cage has gotten nothing but better.

But you know what they say, about opinions….
