Greg – Your argument is not valid as the CDC only gives US figures and is not world-wide, so does not give a world view of the problem. It does not include sub-Saharan Africa where AIDS is ravishing the general populous. You say that Aids is preventable. Not true, Say that to a child born with Aids who’s Mother and Father are both straight.

Instead of misusing this site to quote irrational arguments, who don’t you do something worthwhile with your life. Like being a volunteer in one of the many African nations where Men, Women and Children are dying every minute of every day.

Perhaps upon your return you would have learnt something about the disease and also about yourself.

The only problem with your argument is that the facts don’t support it. AIDS is a totally preventable disease. Unlike cancer, heart disease, lukeima, diabetes, even Parkinson’s, there is a method that is 100% effective in preventing humans from acquiring AIDS, and that is not to have unprotected sex with an HIV infected person.

If the homosexual community, which accounts for approx. 71% of new AIDS cases each year (CDC figures: http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources/factsheets/index.htm) would simply use a little will power and stop fucking each other bareback, we would have a huge reduction in the AIDS epidemic.

HIV and gay has no correlation. Its almost like saying Gay = HIV Infested = Your MOM. All of them don’t have any correlation.

Why do ya give a shit about what other people are? Its their business, its NOT your business. to Americans, banning gay/lesbian marriages cuz religion says so. I can see next year somebody gonna ban eating meat cuz some vegetarian says so.

I’m not gay myself, however i don’t mind hanging around gay people. Haha, in some ways i find them kinda fun to be around.

I even remember one of my friends who own a cafe store next to a girl’s school. One of his requirements for working at his cafe is that ya gotta be gay. Haha. And hell his cafe is like raking in ALOT of money cuz the girls would always drop by.

I laugh alot though:
Girls love seeing gay things, i know like from 4/5 of my friends who dig the gay anime, and gay stuff. (haha even my girlfriend find it hot)…

Guys love seeing lesbian things, i know like from 4/5 of my friends who would give up having sex with their girlfriend just to have sex with a pair of lesbians.

So why do people always show so much hate against them when you are really fantasizing about it in your spare time?

I’m straight, but in my opinion, if you are as disturbed by homosexuals as a lot of the people who have commented here are, you need to reconsider your sexuality.

To whom ever stated that the media industry is “pushing” gay lifestyle or whatever, hmmm let me think… how many action movies are there that depict people going on rampages and killing hundreds of people… but this is ok and is probably the largest selling of all movie genres ? I would rather my child see a little bit of homosexual content than see someone massacring/mutilating human beings etc… the media industry is in no way trying to push this lifestyle on people, rather just showing life as it is. I’m sure there are homosexual mobsters out there (in regards to the 2 mobsters kissing each other on Sopranos, meh there is so much wrong with that comment its not funny… if you are that concerned about how your child will be influenced by the media he/she shouldn’t be watching a show about mobsters, crime and killing in the first place).

What I really find amusing is the fact that there are so many other great movie releases out that have about 1/10th of the amount of comments that this movie has… imagine the amount of publicity that is generated by all these 12 year olds witty comments

Homophobia is knowing full well what a homosexual is, and being afraid of it. Stupidity is saying things like “Eww, fags. No, I prefer pussy”.

I’m gay, & I’ve dealt with the after-effects of homophobia. Not pleasant. Dealing with stupid immature kids, however, is easy. Trouble is, that they grow up into stupid immature adults and end up joining Westboro baptist church. Oh well….
