Box Office chart for last week in 2006

The end of 2006 allowed us to compile a years worth of information from American cinemas, so it is now safe to officially state that Night at the Museum was the most popular flick of last week. This trend was very visible also at NewTorrents because this query simply dominated high above everything else. The other movies in the TOP 10 list are also pretty popular amongst torrent sites, and the good news is that we have decent releases for almost every entry on the chart. After looking at these earnings, I still can’t believe how Hollywood can claim that warez negatively effects Hollywood so much.

Yeah, well its not that we dont go to movies anymore, I mean, if you dont have a fully loaded room with home cinema shizzle, you will still kinda miss the vibe. Like the other day I went to see Casino Royale, it beats sitting at home. I guess it comes down to the fact you can enjoy more kinds of movies, I mean, I wouldnt go to each single movie in the cinema. For that purpose downloading a movie wich you would else not go to the cinema for in the first place wont do the industry much harm, its them people who copy n distribute for commercial purposes. Anyways, waRez is cool, cinema is cool, so… whatever right :D

In 2006 there werent really great new movies (Im talking High Standard movies, Inovative, the New Classics). That is kinda ashame… So Im looking really forward to 2007 releases. Ive seen Night and the Museum, Epic Movie and Surfs up, wich seem really worth to watch this new year. I hope that among the new upcoming movies some real diamond treasures are hidden :D
