The good weekend continues with another high-profile release, this time it’s the first real scene DVDRip of “Bordertown”. Nominated for a Golden Berlin Bear in the Berlin International Film Festival, this film falls into the appealing crime/thriller category. Well-known actors Jennifer Lopez, Martin Sheen and Antonio Banderas are all here. Enjoy.

Synopsis: Since 1993, almost 400 women have been murdered in Juarez, Mexico, a factory town that is home to people who toil away at “maquiladoras” (border factories) making cheap consumer goods for the US market. “Bordertown” tells the story of Lauren Fredricks (Jennifer Lopez), an ambitious newspaper reporter, who has been sent to Juarez by her editor (Martin Sheen) to investigate what has happened to these hundreds of women and how the local police and authorities have been covering up the brutal rapes and murders.

    Wasn,t this release in Aug. in a R5 by Liongate which was great,then in June with 2 CD DVDRIP by Anxiety which was nice?’2007’so whats good on this release?

    OK: Rip is great, Antonio Banderas is Great, Martin Sheeen is Martin Sheen. Jennifer Lopez LICKS ASS. This could have been a great movie if it had chosen to showcase an up and coming actor in the stead of Lopez’ character. She absolutely tanks this film into unwatchability.

    if you don’t have rapidshare premium account, you need 2.5 min to start download (now 3 min.). an another 100 min (for 100mb) for the next download to start. so for this 2 cd(1400mb) movie you need about 24 hrs. wait time + download time + huge patient.

    Good quality. interesting story, but Jennifer lopez’ non-talent ass ruins it. I would say to go back to singing, but she cant do that well either. Maybe she could have a career in the porn industry.

    j-lo is her typical awful self, making what would be a gripping thriller (excellent story, ok script) rather mediocre.

    whats the point in a REAL PROPER if the audio’s still out of sync? easily solved with VLC, but still…

    It seems it starts off fine then as the movie goes on, it gets out of sync, easyfix: open with virtualdub, From under the “Video” dropdown menu, select “Framerate” –
    and select “Change so video and audio durations match”

    Save with a new filename.

    Do the same for part 2.
