Newer group Anxiety gives us this limited retail featuring Jennifer Lopez. Previously available only as a full screen DVDSCR, we now have a nice widescreen copy. Quality appears what you would expect from a nice 2CD DVDRip. IMDB rating isn’t anything special, but if you are a fan of Banderas or Lopez, then this you might want to check out. It should be noted that this movie won’t hit the US until August 31st, so this is a nice advance.
PLOT: Lauren (Jennifer Lopez), an impassioned American reporter for the Chicago Sentinel heads to Juarez, a Mexican bordertown, in order to investigate a series of mysterious slayings involving young factory women from all over Mexico. As she discovers hundreds of victims, she gains the trust of local factory workers but falls into danger.

Responses of film critics were not overly enthusiastic about this movie … as far as dramaturgy, photography, acting, or the like is concerned. What makes this film outstanding is that in mexican Ciudad Juarez, near the US border, for about fifteen years now (I think) at least HUNDREDS of young woman were murdered, after being raped and tortured otherwise before the killing. The woman are mostly factory workers.
It is believed that the killing is a rite of initiation for new gang members – someone who has raped, tortured and murdered someone will not leave the gang and speak to the police sometime later. Everybody is dirty and afraid to talk. The gangs are believed to be mostly concerned with drug smuggling. The officials of Ciudad Juarez deny any links between the now hundreds of dead. There is no serious investigation going on.
I am following this for almost ten years now. Here in germany there where a few articles about this over the last decade.
like the r5 a when it was realeased a long long time ago, worth watching.

Can’t you guys replace the ads you’re currently using by banner ads, it’s not a biggie, but it is a little annoying.
And this one is a biggie, in my opinion anyway.
Can you look for torrents elsewhere besides NewTorrents? I get a lot of window and dialog box popups from that site, and I am using Firefox on linux, so I know it’s bad.
