The crude self deception of comments from the ‘anti-pc brigade’ never cease to amaze me. These cot cases cry “lets forget about the normal well adjusted peeps who wear life’s garbage emptied on em from a great height just because they were born unwhite. The world needs to worry about about pale and pustular, flaccid and flatulent, obese and when I’m not safe behind a keyboard, obsequious me who was born with more chances than 90% of the rest of the world, but somehow I’ve become stuck in a netherworld of self-hatred which I think I hide from you all by ranting and putting everything down especially unwhites, disabled peeps and/or poor peeps. Surely I can trick youse into thinking I’m better than any of them”.

Bonekickers is a lousy show but not for any of the reasons the anti-pc brigade gave above. It doesn’t matter what race or religion characters are if actors who can’t act are spouting lines that don’t ring true.

Maybe someone that actually cares about irrelevant english culture will de construct this dreadful production. Show that the sub-text of this abomination actually reinforces the irrelevant values of a dead culture. For example the first episode which the xtian englanders criticised so much carries an unspoken assumption that some jewish carpenter did get nailed up to a wooden cross a couple thousand years ago. In other words it’s premise is entirely xtian in that it portrays xtian superstition and myth as historical fact.

The show is rubbish, I mean the archeologist guys on the show seem to be experts in every aspect of history. Tonight for example, they found a an old mashed up bulit and instantly the guy said that oit was British made. I mean WTF how could you tell that? And also wakling over to that tank with a bit of corigated roofing tied around his waist to protect him from a granade that could go off at any moment!

Pile of steaming cr@p if you ask me. The Mrs just watches it for a laugh, come on BBC spend our money on somthing else after all the people who write this cr@p wrote Life On Mars – and that was awsome!!!

stunningly improbable “diverse” cast – check

evil white christian male bad guys – check

ep1 – evil white christians beheading muslims (happens all the time right?)

ep2 – evil white ppl with slaves and a black president (BBC wish fulfilment)

ep3 – most famous leader of the resistance against roman occupation actually liked being banged by foreigners.

ep4 – nice arab boyfriend for the white lady and a bunch of evil white guys trying to exploit the poor Iraqis and their majestic (better than ours) civlization.

ep5 – why nationalism and patriotism are very bad and we should just forget about them.

wow, hours of politically correct fun, what’s not to like? The fact that there are actually cretinous halfwits out there that enjoy this drivel is deeply disturbing.

I’d have to agree with Misteritsy, I watched the first episode of this show and that was enough. I mean, heaps of people die during that first episode, the good guys never call the cops/ambulance, then at the end they’re like “let’s go to the pub”. WTF?
