Bonekickers is a new mystery drama from the BBC. It is written by Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes creators Matthew Graham and Ashley Pharoah as well as Tom MacRae and Jack Williams, Starring Adrian Lester (Mickey from Hustle), RiVER has released the first episode of this show, this is a great firs episode more info bellow.

Show Summary
Set against the backdrop of Bath, a city steeped in 3,000 years of history, Gillian and her team – Dr Ben Akomfrah (forensic, objective), Professor Gregory Parton (encyclopaedic but terminally louche) and eager young post-grad intern Viv Davis – are brought in under a variety of imperatives to extract bodies, books, weapons and all manner of artefacts which lead them into an investigation of the past that will unlock dangers and mysteries in the present.

Episode Summary: Army of God
Dr Gillian Magwilde and her team find the remains of medieval knights in the West Country. With religious fanatic Edward Laygass on their tail, could they really be about to find the True Cross?

    I watched the first six minutes of this on TV this evening… thought it was total b*****ks and gave up. Still, some people might enjoy it.

    Jim’s right. Was total crap. But alas it was one of those shows that was good as it was so bad. But anyone with a history knowledge better than a 3 year old should remember to leave your brain in a saucepan while it is on and not see the massive holes in it all.

    didn’t watch it, but i think what i read was overrated.
    so I wil only take notice of people that actually watched it.

    @1 Agreed!! @2 Well said @3 That makes no sense @4 Well said (wanker). Overall the plot was pathetic, and the acting was worse. Its only redeeming feature was the end credits went past at a good pace. Im sorry Aunty Beeb, but this was grade A shate. Anyhoo can we Virgin Media types get away with downloading any more. Or will Richard come round and push a letter through me door. The ballbag!!

    It had me laugthing most of the way through, even if that wasn’t the producers intentions. Still wondering how the two of them ended up swinging so dramatically on the ropes from a steady position. I’ll probably watch it next week for as it got a good few laugths.

    hmmm… why not make time team into a primetime bbc one drama?

    but all bbc one dramas have to be action-packed and full of social commentary don’t they?

    can’t we just throw in some davinci code style b***ocks and critique the crusades and draw clever parallels to modern issues like we did in robin hood?

    Too bad the templar actors completely sucked, which brings the whole fear feeling thing down. But it was just the first ep, I’ll watch again.

    most of the stuff the beeb put out is usually quite embarrassing and doesn’t reflect on the british public at all.

    I’m watching this painfully boring show after it was recommended to me by my parents, I’m not young, my parents are old, and I’m embarassed to be British.

    One of them just said “Bog Off” lol

    I will never watch this again. Ever.
