Bolt USA PS3-BAHAMUT
I have never stepped into this category before, but I guess everything has its first time. Compared with PC games, I like console games more, so I’m gonna focus on console in my game posts. Well my first one goes to a PS3 game “Bolt” released by BAHAMUT.
You know a game must be good when one of the characters is a hamster named Rhino! Bolt may be a regular dog who plays a superdog on TV, but when Rhino’s watching, the power is as real as real can get. Rather than following the plot of the movie, you’ll play through episodes of the show as both Bolt and his human sidekick, Penny. Penny’s levels are stealth based, using her heat vision to reveal clues and uncover enemies, her wheel stick to quickly move along ledges, and even turn invisible. Then take control of Bolt, where you’ll bound like Superman, taking out enemies with a quick pounce and laser beam eye vision!
Based on the new Disney film, so don’t expect this game to be that good unless it’s for your children. Enjoy!

you will need to burn it on blu-ray disc, anyway it will be a waste of blu-ray disc caus the game only i 5gb and blu-ray can carry up to 50gb
why in god's name would you guys even post this CR*P, everyone know that there is no way to run this cause there ain't no known hack for the PS3 and i doubt there ever will be. Just someone trying to be the first to post a PS3 game i guess, and i guess for the guys who ripped this….well they must not be on the same page as every other PS3 owner

ps3 does play dvd:s too. why should it be burned on bluray?
And I have heard that someones had mounted ps3 images to drive and played games without inserting disk. There was linux installed..

I'd imagine if it ever is possible to play burned games on ps3, then dvds probably would work as well as blu rays(if the game fits)
but the last I've heard, noone's been able to harness the ps3's gpu in linux, so running a game in emulation hasn't worked out very well.

It is true you can't play them but they are ripped for those that are trying to find a good hack. And for you to say it never will be…… It already has been hacked just nothing stable yet.

The main aim of Rips is to keep an archive, like zillion of other useless stuff that gets cracked/ ripped.
At 5.59GB, the real game is probably on a dvd. The game publisher thinks the same as us. Why put a 5.59GB game on a massive, more expensive blu-ray disc? I've come across PS2 games that were on a CD, because it was that small of a game.

They ripp the ps3 games for the people that are developing the new ps3 chip thast comming after summer of 2009 so its not a bad post with people like me that are trying to help you guys to play them on your ps3.

#20 Like to see it cracked by then. But the thing is to crack a ps3 is useless who would rather dl a 25gb-50gb-400gb (coming in the next few years) then pay the measly $30 when the title goes on sale. Ill keep buying my ps3 games since unlike pc they come out and work!!
I dont see the ps3 as being a feasible modded gaming system it would cost people to much to dl the games especially if they hit their bandwidth cap I know here its $3.99 per 1gb over then a minimum of $25 on a bluray disc. just doesnt seem worth it when the game is $59.99 brand spankin new.
While you are yelling that this is useless, you might want to think about the future.
When the PS3 gets hacked you have already several games to download. If nobody kicks them on the internet you would hack your PS3 for nothing.

games were ripped when there was no working crack/hack … but if you can see know, console is hacked and games spreed arround.
and as you can read here (only in german), copied games could be played on it, but it is nothing for "retail", so far…

I assume from some of the comments that people think this is the first post of a ripped PS3 game. So far from the truth. I think the first release was on January 16th 2007. I guess the irony is the 2 next gen systems that were easily hacked within a few months of release have outsold the system that still hasnt been hacked to play backups. I would hope when they do eventually hack it that the game can be read from the HD like the original xbox. I know I would hate to have a 20 to 25 dollar coaster.
#25 no it wasnt the same within a couple months the 360 was modded and had a library of games ready for dl the ps3 has been out for years and not modded and most likely wont be anytime soon.
#27 has it right the updates for the firmware now are to solve problems with the XMB and other improvements if they MOD the system then all the future firmware will be for security.
I think thats the one aspect people are constantly forgetting is that the ps3 updates like 1 time a month so if you want a modded system then do it, it will work for a month till the next update then boom nothing again.
I will always pay for my ps3 games because like i said before they are worth it they work unlike pc games which havent got the support for new hardware that they used to have.
I beg someone to find one good PC game that is not incompatible with some sort of video card now a days. If its an EA product then its not even compatible with a video card from 5 years ago.
Moral of the story PC gaming is dead ps3 is the wave of the future since the Xbox aint gonna last much longer 1-2 years tops.
Maybe they will do a CFW kinda like in the PSP, that would be better, hehe
Sony is really good at protecting their products from being hacked, especially since every new game you p[lay requires a software update. Even their dvds are the most difficult to rip, usually have to wait until your protection removal software (anydvd) is updated to get a successful rip. And who wants to download over 10 GB for a game, it'll never fit on dvd or dual layer which means they would need to find a way to store it on the hard drive or burn it to a blu ray which would cost $30.
My mate is a console modder and he must be an einstein because he managed to hack the PS3 but says he will never show anyone how its done. I'm an XBOX 360 owner myself so i dont care about it. but ive seen him playin it and i can say IT IS possible.

If you want to clear $1million dollars in your bank account in a week you mod the ps3 its that simple so many people are waiting for a useless mod for some reason.

If you are talking about swapping discs that is not a mod and is an authorized sony feature For people with the older backward compatible systems to be able to play their ps2 backups even if that is the case then people have to take the ps3 apart to play a ps2 game….. which is really really stupid considering they probably have a ps2.

Close your browser, logoff the internet, crawl back in to your bed and stfu.. Stick to your 720p and 1080p resolutions or buy a gaming PC. You know, with indivual parts that cost more than your whole PS3 does lol
Even if a completely working hack were to come out for the PS3, I'd stay the heck away from it. I wouldn't spend my time and bandwidth downloading 20+ gig game rips, trying to port them over to my PS3's hard drive or burn them on costly blu-ray discs using even more costly blu-ray burners. I love the fact that the PS3 is unhacked so far, and I hope it never will. You can call me whatever you want, a Sony fanboy, DRM lover, a hypocrite coz I know about torrenting and I've probably done my share of downloading (if I like whatever I've DL'd, I'll buy a legit copy) or a rich guy who can afford a PS3, the games and the holier than thou attitude, but fact of the matter is; I'm a consumer who supports what he believes in. Long live the unhackable PS3!

when they do crack the ps3 the price of blu-ray burners and disks will drop like a stone and with most isp pushing faster and faster broadband. worry about the cracking first
@ 35 do you pride yourself in being a douchebag? ps3's are cheaper then the cheapest computer you can get so i have obviously spent more on my comp then my ps3. The point of the matter is pc games dont have the support that they used to have games come out and constantly have problems. I dont know what you dont understand about that you can spend $3000 on a comp and still run into problems with hardware. If you had any idea where pc gaming has come from and is at now you would not dispute the fact that the support for the wide range of parts is no longer there. As well the wide range of game producers has severely dropped in the last 5 years.
And for the record the vast majority of people are not stupid enough to upgrade into a gaming PC anymore it isnt worth it with the life of the computer. Look at dual core prices last year this time hell look at quad core prices if you buy a gaming pc you are an idiot its that simple PC gaming is dead. Console gaming is the future kiddies that clutch there pcs like the barbie dolls they used to play with need to get with the times piracy has destroyed computer gaming (not saying its a bad thing you can only put out so much trash before people stop buying) and now EA runs the computer game industry hands down whom are by far the worst when it comes to supporting new technology.
@35: my 42" wall mounted hdtv and my 7.1 surround sound kicks your 17.7" monitor and altec lansing system's ass. THAT is why i got a ps3, my tv & my stereo for about the same price and use them all day, rather than dropping 3 grand on alienware i wouldnt use nearly as much

well I own a 360 a ps3 and a high end PC, for me there is no better machine to play games on than my PC.
