Blues Traveler – North Hollywood Shootout (Advance) (2008)

Noticed tonight, the advance of the new Blues Traveler had hit the scene.  Not due out until later in the month, RTB had the hook up.   Make sure you check the .nfo for a LOT of information about this title.  Seemed like a novel.  Anyways, you probably know the band for their straddling of blues and jam-band rock that brought them millions sold and several hit songs in the 90s.

Blues Traveler is an American rock band formed in Princeton, New Jersey, in 1987. They are best known to general audiences for their hit songs “Run-Around”, “Hook” and “But Anyway”.  As of 2007, the group comprises singer and harmonica virtuoso John Popper, guitarist Chan Kinchla, drummer Brendan Hill, bassist Tad Kinchla and keyboardist Ben Wilson. Tad Kinchla and Ben Wilson joined the band following the death of original bassist Bobby Sheehan in 1999 of a drug overdose in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Good music with good jams. Horrible non-bluesy, high pitched, squeezed nazel, no ranging voice. Too bad too, cause they make good jams, but the bad voice kills it for me.
