BD to DVD… ???
if some1’s already got BD.. why wud he gonna convert into DVD..?? its like converting DVD’s into VCDs
“…with almost the same quality!”..
yah… 720*480 is almost same as 1920*1080.. !!!
as mentioned before how stupid are people converting bluray to dvd?
thats like downloading an axxo rip and thinking its good quality.
Just buy a freakin bluray player you stupid tight arses. get with the times fossils.
This is ok, its prety much like slysoft whatevers its called, it’ll make a clone basically. Nice to backup bluray to media player box.
You can almost get the same quality since it just reencodes it just like you would with x264/h264 codecs, where you can get a full length 720p movie at 4GB. Good quality hd is about 300-500MB per every 25mins at least. For amazing quality would usually be 20-50GB, I’d probably just watch the blu ray then. Or store on TB drive. 4Gb-10GB at 720p quality is usually prety ok.
Have to try some of these softwares whenever get a blu drive -_-, pretty soon. Just use WDTV/or netbook for my 720P movies.
Only thing I hate is encrypted, since this pass’s it, thats good.

@ 14 borry, some folk have a mortgage & kids and maybe think a Blu-Ray player is a bit of a luxury they don’t wanna fork out on just yet. These people can download Blu-Ray rips, then encode to watch on their DVD players at excellent quality.
Either way, you’re an ars-e-hole.
Um, you have to have a Blu-Ray drive to begin with to even copy the Blu-Ray to your hdd. Why on earth would anyone buy a 25-30 dollar Blu-Ray and want to compress it to dvd format and burn a dvd out of it? If you obviously already have a BR drive in your computer why not just watch it on it? Or why not buy the way way cheaper dvd version of the movie. This makes no sense
OK dunderheads who don’t think blu-ray to DVD is important.
I have a blu-ray player on my computer AND in my HD theater room. However, I don’t have one in my car, or in my notebook computer, blu-ray on a mobile device makes no sense.
This allows you to encode to formats so that it is playable everywhere else. Until such time as I can get blu-ray everywhere I need the ability to convert. AVCHD is a necessity regardless, if you are going to run a networked home theater.
