they cracked BD+ _not_ Bluray. there haven’t yet been many BD+ releases but still, a few notable including FantasticFour and DieHard releases. cba to get the whole list but you will manage with a search yourself.

this is old news. Slysoft cracked Bluray like a week after Bluray was released.

Anydvd is the best out there, fabdvd is really good to with those and a converter program u have most bases covered, its not a suprise that slysoft comes out with this, they been doin it and doin it well for a while now. Im not really concerned with hdcp what i wanna know if i rip or DL a bluray can i back up the movie to a dvd9 or a dvd5 if the file is small enough and does it play on a ps3? my ps3 is connected by hdmi my pc is connected by s-video, i would love to start a collection of bluray movies. My thought was that the bluray disc is just like a dvd but holds more info (simplified I know) so theory would suggest if the movie was ripped it would still be high def. So it wouldnt matter what the high res movie was contained on whether it be dvd5 or dvd9 or external drive connected to a ps3 or off a computer connected with a High def output. is this correct?

what we also need is something that disables hdcp for ps3 so we can play it on computer monitors without hdcp compatibility , something cheaper then 60 bucks, maybe some cracker could disable it by installing linux and making a program that runs on linux to disable the hdcp on the ps3, then we’re golden

AnyDVD HD removes protection on Blu-ray discs (and HD-DVD…), meaning you don’t need a HDCP enabled graphics card or monitor – you just make sure AnyDVD is running before you insert the disc.

Previous versions of AnyDVD HD removed protection from all DVD, HD DVD, and Blu-ray discs EXCEPT for the ones with the new (new-ish) BD+ protection (and extra layer of protection on Blu-ray discs). 6.4.0.0 now removes BD+ on most of the currently available Bluray titles with BD+ protection.

AnyDVD will always keep up with new protections. Remember the old saying ‘what man can make, man can break…’

The best this can be for is movies and BD players in general. You can’t really expect this to be any good for PS3 games because your PS3 would first need to be modded as well. Not only that though but MANY games advertised as blu-ray are really dvd9, like most multiplatform games.

@20 from my pc, HDCP videocard, HDMI to a non HDCP 47″LCD, I read that HDCP security reduces the resolution to 5xxi.

I Haven’t Bought the videocard yet (palit 8800gt sonic) but I’m a little worry if I’ll be hable to play releases of like… 12GB.

I’m confused too. For a BlueRay torrent, will we have to go out and buy a BlueRay burner and blank BlueRay disks? Or can we somehow burn them to DVD5 or DVD9? Better yet, is it possible to just play the file from a laptop patched into a TV like we do with regular avi, xvid, or DVD rips?
