Blindness PROPER DVD SCREENER XViD-PUKKA
Released a bit over 2 weks ago by TDL, but it was nuked for several reasons. Now PUKKA brings us the proper of the DVDScreener.
A city is ravaged by an epidemic of instant “white blindness”. Those first afflicted are quarantined by the authorities in an abandoned mental hospital where the newly created “society of the blind” quickly breaks down. Criminals and the physically powerful prey upon the weak, hording the meager food rations and committing horrific acts. There is however one eyewitness to the nightmare. A woman whose sight is unaffected by the plague follows her afflicted husband to quarantine. There, keeping her sight a secret, she guides seven strangers who have become, in essence, a family. She leads them out of quarantine and onto the ravaged streets of the city, which has seen all vestiges of civilization crumble. Their voyage is fraught with danger, yet their survival and ultimate redemption reflect the tenacity and depth of the human spirit.

Great movie
Easily one of the best films this year.
Great news! – The hard-coded subs were annoying.
I was waiting for a proper and deleted the last download after 5mins watching.
The other issue was that there were no English subs for the foreign languages (which was spoken quite a bit in that first 5mins)…
Any news if the English subs were added for those scenes?
@7 In the video preview there is english subs when one of the characters is speaking a different language, I would assume it’d be like that for everyone then.

@42 just did a fast forward through it. No watermarks, and didn’t notice any b&w scenes. Need to watch it first to be sure of that, the b@w scenes. Overall, looks good, a little bit grainy, but definitely watchable.

I was so excited to see this movie and I have never been more dissapointed in my life! The movie was descent because it had the question of “why or how is this happening?”. But it never answers that question which makes this movie a complete waste of time. All this movie does is try to make some weird point about humanity. So if you are looking for a good sci-fi flick go get something else because this is not it!

That is the point, humanity quickly breaks down, and through that break down we see what is most important. I would explain my point more but i don’t not want to put in spoilers. At first, i was very much against liking it because i would think it was a sort of religious flick, which some scenes can lead you to believe it (i am not religious in any way or form) but i did see the beauty, sadness, and how stupid some issues seem to be.
Well this is probably moot since rslog is never a good place to discuss anything without getting flamed on in some way :-/

Ermmm,… Not a bad movie. But i wouldn’t say anything special.
Its typical, one of those Revealing “Human nature” Films, but nothing to make you go WOW.
Its just unique because its a film about mass blindness.
5/10… Maybe a 6 because of originality.

Really I am disappointed with “Blindness”!!
I expected a movies like “Invasion” and the like, but “Blindness” is just a movie of how blind people make love with each other!!!
Really a dissappointing movie. 5/10 is my own rating!!
