Blades of Glory TS XViD-20th
Another TS release is here, this time for the comedy “Blades of Glory” starring Will Ferrell. The samples look good for a TS although I think many people will wait for a better quality.
When rival figure skaters Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) go ballistic in an embarrassing, no-holds-barred fight at the World Championships, they are stripped of their gold medals and banned from the sport for life. Now, three-and-a-half years on, they’ve found a loophole that will allow them to compete: if they can put aside their differences, they can skate together – in pairs’ figure skating.

This movie (and Will Ferrell sucks). I’ve never seen someone make so many unfunny, popular comedies. Old School was great, but everything after that has been shit.

Talladega Nights was one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a long time, and I’m not even a huge fan of any of his others movies.
This movie looks gayer than Dale Winton in a popper factory
Quality is good for a TS, but I will go and see this one in the theaters, it seems worth it.
20th does a really good job with TS post processing.
I agree Ferrells movies post Old School have sucked .Who can forget Frank the Tank. Maybe that tranquiliser dart had lasting effects or maybe a lack of oxygen in the bottom of the pool. Bewitched sucked most of all. I tried to watch it 6 times but kept on falling asleep so I eventually just gave up. Anchorman was a bit sucky but there’s a few good bits especially when Baxter(Ferrell’s/Burgundy’s Dog) gets kicked off the bridge. Talladege nights was funny (especially when he thinks he’s on fire) but was ruined by Ali G in a few cringe worthy moments I’m guessing this movie is going the same way so I think I’ll pass since I don’t fancy losing my dinner over another pro-gay comedy. URGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH. I’ll give this film a rating of a thumb up their own arse = -1
Actually, I’m a big fan of Ferrell, but i agree nothing can match Old School, that was just about the best thing ever. But even though i liked most his movies since then, I would definitely say that this movie is much better than his previous efforts. There was a far amount of homophobic comedy, but it was great. Heder really sucks at acting but Nick Swardson and Will Arnett really helped thou.

It skips about an hour in, and the camera shakes a bit, I don’t know how much is missing…
Good quality, but the sound isn’t as good.
Not a bad TS. Video is fine (Although there is a shoe visible at the bottom of the screen for about 15 mins, half-way through)
Audio is a little washed out, but no where near unwatchable.
As for the film. Has some classic one liners, but I don’t think it’ll be up in the top 100 on imdb anytime soon
Will Ferrell is not funny, Old School was terrible, the only funny film with him in was Anchorman…..and that’s mostly because of the other actors in it.
as for this film it does look good and quite funny (from the trailer, but then they always do) I’m just not wanting to waste my time again on a film with Ferrell in it…..so I’ll wait till it gets more good reviews, from none ferrell fans.

you guys haven’t seen “Winter Passing” … everyone in that film was giving fantastic performances, then there was Will Ferrell.. I swear he was reading his lines from a cue card the *entire* film without a second of rehearsal. Yes, his char was supposed to be very wacky, but not “bad actor who can’t even deliver a line.” Every second of his face time in that film was an insult to the audience.

I honestly don’t understand the hype Farrel’s films get. He isn’t anything special at all, Anchorman was a disaster but proves popular among those who don’t have a sense of humour themselves. The same people who need jokes spelt out to them, the same people who didn’t find napolean dynamite funny.
Anyone ever think that maybe the script writers are the funny ones? That would be silly.

at least you can rest knowing that you weren’t the only one. heh. i’m wondering if i should just hold out a little longer and wait for a better release since the TS already been released for about a month.
both copies of this TS on newtorrents have comments about the audio being out of sync, although it could just be one user with a bad set of codecs…
