Blade Runner 1982 DC DVDRip XviD iNT-PFa
The #102 of the IMDB top 250 is online once again. This time PFa brings the “DC” Director’s Cut of this film staring Harrison Ford. I have seen this movie years years ago when I was still a child. But a few weeks ago I wanted to refresh my memory and I found the release of “aXXo” somewhere online and watched it. A very good old movie for the ones who have missed this classic, a “refresh my memory” for the ones who already seen this years ago. PFa’s quality is always to be trusted. Enjoy!
Director Ridley Scott’s hauntingly prescient vision of the not-too-distant future stars Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard, a retired police assassin, or “blade runner.” The Los Angeles of 2019 is a dark, polluted, overcrowded dystopia dominated by cloud-piercing buildings and looming neon billboards, the air dense with acid rain and flying traffic. World-weary Deckard has been called out of retirement to liquidate four escaped “replicants” genetically derived androids of great strength, intelligence, and nearly-human emotion who serve as slaves and prostitutes in the off-planet colonies. Led by Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer), they’ve come to Los Angeles to confront their designer, Eldon Tyrell (Joe Turkel), with their unhappiness about the brevity of their four-year life span. In the course of his search, Deckard becomes romantically entwined with Tyrell’s lovely assistant, Rachael (Sean Young), and must eventually confront Batty in an unforgettable rain-soaked sequence.

A highly influential fusion of the science fiction and noir genres based on the novel DO ANDROIDS DREAM OF ELECTRIC SHEEP? by Philip K. Dick, this postmodern film boasts astonishingly rich art direction, juxtaposing ingenious technological gadgetry with yellowing photographs and fetishistic objets d’art as it touches on questions of time, memory, identity, and mortality. Scott’s 1992 director’s cut edition contains notable alterations, including the absence of Ford’s narration, which significantly heightens the ambiguity of key moments in this stunning cinematic landmark.

I’m waiting for this year’s long-awaited theatrical and DVD release of the “Final Cut” version, personally. Still, just about the greatest movie ever made, right here.

Classic. I would steal this for sure if I didn’t already own it. ^_^
i’m 25 and i have never seen it, heard a lot about it but never got around to watching it.
This is not only a classic, but one of the “best classics”, IMO.
THANX FOR POSTING ABOUT IT!!!
Hey Chippxero, you have to watch this move it is pure class the best movie of it,s genre ever, but also one of my top 10 movies of all time. time to watch a classic, anyway AxxO brought out a copy of a revamped directors cut a few months ago which is excellent quaility, try finding it on Mininova or Torrentspy
When this film was released i was not even born
Still .. every movie nerd or even every one who enjoys movies has heard of this one .. so i guess it´s time to fill up that blank space
An infinitly classic.
The last scene in the rain with Rutger Hauer is one of my favourite cinematic scenes.
I hear the Criterion laserdisc edition is the “ultimate” version of this film. According to Wikipedia 9 different versions were released, not including the latest.
“# The original 1982 International Cut (also known as Criterion Edition), which included more graphic violence than the U.S. theatrical release, and which was released on VHS and on Criterion Collection Laserdisc.
# The U.S. theatrical version (also known as Original Version), also called the domestic cut.
# Two workprint versions, shown only as audience test previews and occasionally at film festivals; one of these was distributed in 1991, as a Director’s Cut without Scott’s approval.
# The Ridley Scott-approved 1992 Director’s Cut; prompted by the unauthorized 1991 release, it is to date the only version officially released on DVD.
# The broadcast version, edited for profanity and nudity.
# Warner Home Video has scheduled both theatrical and DVD releases of Ridley Scott’s final cut of the film for 2007″

I kinda miss the Harrison Ford narration in the director’s cut…still great though.
There’s a new restored/remastered, definitive cut from the director due in September this year, to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary, it’s called Blade Runner: Final Cut…can’t wait
hmm dont remember ever seeing this, better watch it tonight.
This has already been out on torrents before. downloaded it about a 2 months ago and didn’t really like it.
anybody know if and when this is coming in an hd version?
this is a classic of the genre the bleek future urban atmosphere and special effects help make this a must see for anyone who has’nt seen it.Ahhhh they dont make em like this anymore!
why they cut the movie at the credits? there was only 2-3 min to go and they ended it!!
Best.
Movie.
Ever.
That said, the DC edition w/o Ford’s VO and the “is he a replicant/unicorn sequence” I think sours the original mouth and eyes wide open experience I had when I grew up with this movie. The Narration gives it a sci-fi-noir feel that was completely immersing at a time when no one was making quality sci-fi, and certainly no one was making quality noir thrillers.
“If only you could see, what I have seen, with your eyes.”
this movie is sick imo you should just buy it its hell cheap
Wow, everyday I’m finding movies that I actually want to see, bravo!
Wow, everyday I’m finding movies that I actually want to see, bravo

I prefer the original theater version or the version that was released on vhs I like Harrison Ford narration in the original
so I am hanging out for an original release on dvd.
top marks for this post Mike, excellent find!
excellent movie… This and Tron were my favorites when I was a kid, never seen again a scifi movie that touched me like that, until Matrix 1
Someone, release the book and the game too. Preferably in one package with the movie
Each of those is a masterpiece.
One of the few movies that improved on the novel it was based on - This, Dune and The Thing are my top Sci-fi choice of all time.
This movie is in my top 3 list.
Geat movie although the book is much better you guys should read it, it’s called “Do androids dream of electric sheep?” by Philip K. Dick.
yeah, read the book to get the whole point.
btw: why isn’t this in full dvd quality? anamorphic 720*bla?
Do any of you know a good programs that can join these two clips into one? For some reason I can’t join VBR audio coded files in VirtualDub. Any suggestions?
best sf movie ever. i like the narration though. “…let’s go to the colonies…”
