The only thing that was bad about the series was its first episode. The rest was just fantastic. It is made like a comicbook in a way that Heroes is. Has a deep story and overall is way better than the movies.

Loved the TV series. Watched every single episode when they aired last season on SpikeTV, Wednesday at 10pm. The TV series is better than the last two Blade movies combined. Each movie got lamer and stupider. The series got better and better. I was surprised at how bloody it was as well. The series ended because of production costs not because of ratings. If you don’t believe me, look it up on Wiki. Rome and Deadwood were canceled for the same reason. It sucks but one season is better than none. Blade 2 sucked and Blade 3 was terrible. Blood:The Last Vampire and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust are far better than the last two Blade films. Blade The Series exceeds the last two Blade films. The series takes its time so there are fewer plot holes, there is more action and character motivations are explored in more depth.

i actually rented this movie… it was kinda dumb. the chick in it was really hot tho and i thought she was gonna take her shirt off at one point, but, unfortunately, she doesn’t. basically get this only if you like the whole blade thing… it’s not even wesley snipes so don’t expect anything too spectacular.

Don’t get too hooked though as the series was cancelled and it doesn’t look like another network will be picking it up anytime soon.

This pilot episode of the series doesn’t exactly do justice
to the remaining episodes of the first season (13 episodes)!
But still it is a good introduction to all the players in the story!
The series is not that bad and is much more darker than the three Blade movies! It sure is bloodier and gorier than the movie series!
Personally I enjoyed the series and should be judged on it’s own merit!
Think of this happening in an alternate universe!

Have seen this series a while ago! And must say that it wasn’t that bad! The pilot episode however doesn’t do justice to the remaining episodes of the first season!
The focus of this series is different from the movies!
It sure is bloodier and gorier than the movies! More darker!

Give this pilot episode a chance and download the first season! You won’t regret it! (The whole season has 13 episodes!)

there’s a reason why that tv show got the axe. horrible acting for one. the show doesn’t even resemble or have the same flavor of the movies (particularly the 1st two) in any way. save your time and bandwidth. you’ve been warned!
