BlackSite Area 51 Update 1.1-ViTALiTY

Fans of a fairly new action game BlackSite Area 51 can now install the first patch v1.1. We somehow forgot to make a post about this game by accident, but there were so many other games we simply didn’t make it. This massive 100 MB patch doesn’t really change many things, but it brings in a “proper” crack from ViTALiTY, so you don’t have to use this VM emulation any longer. I guess most of you don’t really mind if this groups remains scene banned or not…

Changelog:

  • Removed Crash Catcher from PC Build
  • Create Profile now checks for all whitespace profile names.  Before patch 1.1 the user could make a blank profile, now the game will recognize and tell the user via message “you must type in a profile name” before you can gain multiplayer access.
  • With PC patch 1.1 installed the scoreboard will not close when the connection dropped message is received
  • Intra language MP support.  The game will no longer crash if the users play a game — each using a different language
  • Moved Profile Manager from Game Info to World fix missing manager on Versus Clients (background process)

Considering the game is more than 10GB, I’m not gonna download this. With these public trackers it would take forever :D

My problem with this game is that after a night of downloading 10gb this game sucks ballz. the only good thing about it is graphics (maybe cause i like the style of U3 engine) but all the rest is just crap. This game is too easy, started on hardest difficulty lvl and played for3 hours without dieing… maybe FPS’s on xbox are challenging, but with keyboard and mouse this game is pathetically easy. What else: decals and shooting enemies… wtf? same “blood-splash” animation wherever you hit the enemy (if you hit the head, they are loosing helmets !!!!11111 WOAH!!!! IMBAH !!!), that helmet thing is the only good about killing enemies. This game is not worth eating 12GB (after installation) of my hdd space. I’ve thought it might be a top class shooter, but it is deffinitly NOT.

One more thing: you are posting 1.1 updade when you did not post info about 1.0 release … o.O There were info in comments to other games, but still…

Thanks again ViTALiTY - pity this game is crap, but you release the cracks the PROPER way they meant to be released,
and I give s##t if you’re scene banned or not.
    Keep up the good work.

who cares if they’re banned or not… if their cracks work then its all good… tbh ViTALiTY are one of the better groups out there along with Reloaded and Fairlight

This game has got to be better than S.O.B. Payback, FEAR P.M.S. or TimeShaft, right?

Actually me thinks this game makes Timeshaft seem like COD4 on steroids.

i want my gigs back from usenet for this pile of drivel.

The PC and XBox 360 versions were reviewed at ign. The review basically stated this is an O.K. game but not great. http://pc.ign.com/articles/835/835573p1.html

Shame they dropped co-op late in the development process. With Co-op this mediocore game would have been more fun. So far with the must have November FPS releases (Crysis, Call of Duty, Blacksite: Area 51, Soldier of Fortune: Payback, F.E.A.R. Persus Mandate, and Timeshift) few have been worth the download and/or purchase.

Hopefully Kane and Lynch will be great!!!

The IGN reviewer can’t write at all. That was a terribly written review.
