Black Water DVDRip XviD-BeStDivX

A something which looks like a clone of Anaconda only with aligators – that’s Black Water. Released by group BestDivX as a dvdrip, this is almost an STV title without known actors, based on a true story, but with a fairly good storytelling which already earned 2 film awards. English subtitles included.

Grace, her boyfriend Adam and younger sister Lee decide to take a river tour whilst holidaying in Northern Australia. As they drift into a mangrove swamp their boat is suddenly capsized and Jim disappears. Realising they’ve been attacked by a crocodile, Adam drags Grace to the safety of a tree whilst Lee clings on top of the overturned boat. Adam and Grace frantically try and manoeuvre Lee and the boat to the tree but it is firmly stuck. Stranded in the flooded mangrove swamp, the three holiday makers must work out what to do survive…

    Anaconda should have been much better, if they put twice the man on the boat and let Jon Voight kill the most.

    And should be replaced Dabby Trejo with Lopez: she shoudl have been die in the first 2 minutes.

    mr right,

    It depends what player you use. Many will automatically load the subtitles, as long as the filenames are the same as the video file. Once loaded, displaying them is usually a simple matter of selecting them from the menus. If you use ffdshow (a Directshow filter that acts like a codec pack), you can tell it to display subs for any format it supports, regardless of whether the player supports them or not.

    Subtitles are usually in IDX/SUB format, and often the SUB file is compressed with Rar. So it looks like this;

    video.avi
    video.idx
    video.sub or video.rar

    The subs can also be in SRT format. You can rename the files, as long as the filenames all match, except for the extensions.

    Black Water is a brand new Aussie movie by the director/writer of Wolf Creek… trailer looked pretty good on Rove the other night (Steven Curry was funny as..)

    This isn’t actually by Greg Mclean of Wolf Creek fame, he went on to do a very similar sounding movie called “Rogue”. Also about an alligator, also in the Aussie outback…

    Not alligator mate, it’s a salt-water crocodile, hell of a lot worse than an alligator.!!!

    I saw Rogue during its preview week at Greater Union a few months back.
    Its good, just not raveworthy great. Climax peters out in a predictable way.

    I’ve seen the trailer for this film & the likeness is uncanny.
