PLOT: Micheal, a former test subject of a project to create supersoldiers, is forced to escape with his comrades after the project was cancelled. Months later, he is trying to have a quiet life as a librarian with a tough cop as his best friend. However, a string of vicious gangland murders begins that has all the markings of his former compatriots who seem to have turned to violent crime. Realizing that the police are helpless to fight these soldiers, Micheal decides to take them on himself. Donning a mask to protect his identity, Micheal must fight these powerful villians as the mysterious superhero known only as Black Mask.

Would have been a great release but no doubt it’s the cut version and dubbed too. Now if the original full uncut version in it’s original language and subtitles popped up then THAT would awesome.
Is it just me or is blu-ray completely over hyped and not much better than dvd.I know that statistically on paper it looks to be better but i have just put my blu ray player up for sale as i was NOT impressed with it at all.

Willam Gates- I agree. Blu ray only looks better if you have a nice 1080p capable LCD/Plasma (forget DLP even thought the new Mitsu’s are OK) and a HDMI cable. Its just the industry trying to roll out “New” technology to keep itself alive. The TV hardware industry especially- they couldn’t make LOADS of money if they just kept selling CRT’s, right? Its a self-feeding industry. just like modern computing. The only reason we need a 3ghz quad core with 4gb of ram if because coders are lazy and the hardware industry leans on them to be so- so they can come out with new hardware to fit “system requirements”. Its virtually the same in the TV industry as well. yay for capitalism! ….er…

I don’t know about you, but my experience with blue ray vs dvd has a pretty big gap in between when talking about picture quality. I only have a 32″ samsung. I can see that the blue ray has an “IMAX” feel to it. The dvd has like grainy and blurred graphics. I guess you can pretty much compare it to VHS vs DVD quality, but in this case DVD vs Blue Ray.
Need better source to download this great movie.. Anyone uploading this on Megaupload or FileFactory or Adrive? That would be much appreciated. Thanks!
people who say this is a good film have no clue. Its a toss up between this and “Dr Wai…” for the title of Jet Li’s worst movie ever.
if you like sped up fighting, no story, crap effects, sure, you will love this.
why they bother releasing (the distributers, not the rippers) such crap in HD is beyond me. There are so many better films which deserve to be in HD.

Blu-ray looks Great and Sounds Great on my 3.5 meter movie screen and 7.5 HD surround sound. Some Movies turn out better than others the best movie for quality i have seen so far is the patriot.
I agree with the above comments you need a HD Projector or HD TV to get the best out of Blu-ray.
I like how they spent all of about 10 seconds on thinking up a name for his superhero character. If Superman had landed in China, they probably would have named him “Blue Tights”.
