A fairly popular Asian scene group WiRA released a dvdrip of Japanese action drama “Black Belt”, also known as “Kuro-obi”. It’s a movie about karate including many real fights with no stunts, so if you like real action, this should be a very good choice for you. Audio in this release is Japanese, but there are English subtitles attached. Ripped to 1 CD with standard video bitrate and mp3 audio.

The year is 1932. Three men are zealously engaged in karate training at the dojo of Eiken Shibahara. Their names are Taikan, Choei and Giryu. Eiken suddenly dies, but the ‘kuro-obi’ black belt that will designate his successor has not yet been passed on. “Karate is not about fighting.” Who will be the one to heed Eiken’s words of wisdom and receive the coveted ‘kuro-obi’ to carry on as his successor? In a related development, the Military Police Headquarters takes note of the exceptional skill of these martial art practitioners, and the three men are commanded to join their forces.

    You always go by the nfo and say that there are subtitles…then I go to NewTorrents and sure enough there are no subs in the file list!!! wtf! Glad I checked first.

    sluGGo: we are only informative site. the original release contains subtitles. it’s up to you where you find the release. newtorrents is just a quick suggestion. besides, finding subs only shouldnt be that big issue.

    How would i go about streaming this to my 360 WITH the subtitles? I know how to stream movies, but always with the subtitles hardcoded into the video.

    Dustin, you need to first hardcode the subs using something like AutoGK, then you will be able to stream to your xbox….there are plenty of guides out there on how to do this, google is your friend

    @13 The PS3 does, but it has to be embedded in the original file, doesn’t take a whole lot of work to put 2 and 2 together. Can’t speak for the 360 since I don’t own one, but I do know it’s possible at least in the PS3.

    Batman, please stop complaining!
    They are doing this for free you know.
    The only thing you pay to watch the movies, is for your internet provider.

    If you wanted so bad to see the movies you mentioned, you should go to the cinema and watch them, and should wait for the dvd to buy.
    So unless you have the money, just wait, or find the way to get a r5 copy, sit for a whole day to met the scene encoding needs, and upload it.

    I’m so sick of reading these zero meaning posts like yours, when you haven;t ever tried to contribute something from you to the community for free!!!!!

    The fact is, they ALWAYS lie about the subs. If you want to check it out, look at some of the former ‘foreign’ releases on rlslog. The posters always say “subs are included”, but they are never in the torrent links they provide! In my opinion, that is just lazy and improfessional, and shows that they don’t care about the people they inform. Same thing with the Uploadjockey links, the only people who gain from those are the staff-members themselves.

    And sorry for my mistakes, but English is not my first language and I was tired. So STFU.

    forgive batman for the bat-shyte his talking. obviously this batman got the brain of bat and cant see anything good. For the other complaining shyte talkers, get the subs link and learn from these mistakes. Most of all be thankful for what you got, if not, give us some uploads of your own scumbags.     None of these subs are working for me. The .srt file is the same name as the .avi file and its not showing in vlc or wmp 11. I tried taking the .srt off the file name and same with the .avi file and still no luck. Changed the extension to .sub and still no luck… Any idea what im doing wrong here?

    Actually i got now guys, thanks… I didnt have vob sub installed. I do have another problem though… subs are now working in vlc and wmp classic but the movies file doesnt play in wmp 11, any reason why? It was working fine before i installed the vob sub but after the file doesnt play anymore…help?

    Thankyou sluGGo Number 22 for the sub title site .I should have used yours first.It actually worked .Good movie and scenery ,good karate action sequences.However the ending had me lost.The baddies stand in the paddock in a straight line and do nothing after the showdown and the hero opens a Karate school.THE END.
