BioShock PROPER-LOLCATS
We’ve already informed you about the working crack for Bioshock, so it was only a matter of time till some real scene group takes this crack and makes a whole release with it. LOLCATS isn’t exactly a world-famous group, but their release works like a charm and that’s what important. As the NFO says, This release does not require internet, nor does it have any serial or activation part and you don’t have to copy any cracked files over. So the only problem I see is the size of the game, which is slightly over six gigabytes.

13. you can’t do it. Keep the image on a harddrive and go onto the cd2dvd website after a while. they usually have instructions on how to split DVD9 to 2 DVD5’s. Alternativelly you can just use 7zip to split the ISO into smaller chunks and then burn the pieces onto a couple of DVD’s. This is good for backing up, the only trouble is that if you want to play again, you have to extract the pieces onto the hard drive, unpack them, and then mount and install the ISO. But once done that’s it.

ps. Only the crack its maded by “DarkCoder” behind there are many seeders on Emule GOGOGOOGOGO…..
Mount in Daemon any of the Bioshock game images that are found all over the net. Also, mount a mini image that can be found at Gamecopyworld. Have both mounted at the same time. This will bypass Securom. (I checked Securom in Daemon Tools, not sure if this made a difference) Now install the game. At the end of installation it will install patch and check if your video driver is up to date. Update your video driver if it isn’t. Now replace the files in install directory with the crack that can be found just about everywhere. (paul.dll and bioshock.exe) Update the registry with secu.eg. Start the game. Should work. If the game crashes, turn down the video settings. I have a Geforce 7900GS and still had to turn down the settings. The game did crash with the settings set to high, but once I put them to medium the game worked fine. I played the game for about 2 hours without one problem.

Looking at the MetaCritic *user* reviews (no point to reading hyped-up commercial reviews) it doesn’t sound like a ground-breaking game, though the graphics and sound are undoubtedly great.
For FPS fans, it’ll be great. For ppl more interested in unique and varied gameplay, it won’t satisfy like Stalker, Far Cry or HL2.
But if this install`s crack automatically, how can you update game later..?

Wrong. P2P has NO SKILL. Whatsoever. You may get a very rare exception where one guy has some skill, but if they were as good as the real sceners, they would be in the groups.
The people who steal cracks from P2P and rls them in the scene are not in the real scene and will be banned from all sites as usual. P2P is a mistake and it has no reason to exist. Especially torrents.
BTW, the P2P cracks that are out now are total jokes. Even if they do work fully.
Well…This is working absolutely fine for me so far. Only thing is that I have X800 graphicscard and well happy to inform those who don’t yet know, Bioshock will be unplayable with that. So for now I have used this fix. The name of the fix you can find in the official Bioshock forum.
Hye all, i downloaded the onehitwonder release and now i got like 63 rar files but i cant unrar them, it says that i have to unrar from a previous volume? but i did start with the first one…

can anyone help me, i just got lolcats version of the game and i can’t extract the file. I have enoughe free space more than 20GB on my disk, the disk is NTFS formated but then i get stuck at 41% file bio-lol.r25 and sais “Write error in the file bio-lol.iso probably not enough disk space” so i know it’s not he disk problem, i also downloaded another bio-lol.r25 file but i get the same result. So can i fix this somehow or should i go for onhitwonder’s release?

you should check, winrar (of whatever u are using), because, while you might have enough disk space on whatever partition or disk u are trying to extract to, you might not have enough space on the disk (or partition), on wich winrar (or whatever u are using) is by default trying to place a temp file.

Figured it out. You have to install the vcredist_x86 thats included in the installed directory.
Every time I try to install the onehitwonder iso, I get the following message at the end:

I found a way to fix the “failed to start” error. You have to install the vs update and the direct x update from the cd. it’s located in their appropriate folders. the only problem left is that my game crashes once in a while and autosave doesn’t save frequent enough.

I USED JOTTI ONLINE SCANNER AND FOUND MALWARE/GENERIC-A IN BOTH THE PAUL.DLL AND THE BIOSHOCK CRACK
before i had the bright idea to scan the file i did an install just as the instructions say and this virus infected my pc and i had to do a complete reinstall to get my pc workin again(the virus disabled my taskbar and i could not access my files also it disabled my virus protection and it also disabled safe mode so i could not fix the prob)

I downloaded a different 3Gb version !!!!it works great and no activation or crack required, or internet
check out “bioshock.2007.Pc-Rip.Full.Game.English.Skullptura”
i used the onehitwonder ISO with a maxi image from GCW and i used the link for the dark coder crack provided by RL
the game installed fine no probs there but the infection sufaced after restart and locked my pc down i could not remove it i could not use safe mode(tried many different things) so did a clean boot
after reinstalling OS i did some scans to see if i could find where it came from and found MALWARE/GENERIC-A in the paul.dll and the bioshock.exe crack the specific name of the virus is Backdoor.Haxdoor

I don’t know mate…both links from Releaselog are definitely not infected with anything and I doubt that the GCW one is either. So, most likely you got the virus from somewhere else and it just took effect when you rebooted. If you could provide a link to the infected files, I will gladly test them for you with my fully updated version of Kaspersky and let you know if I find anything.

i have considered the fact that this malware may have been on my pc for some time doing its damage (although i am very carefull with my beloved pc

after finding what i did and the whole sequence of events during and after the install of bioshock i truely belive that the source of my problems was the paul.dll and the bioshock.exe so any help in figureing this one out would be very much appreciated by me and the community at large

so it may be a false positive or it may be being spread through the community intact and as is
i just know that i cant use this game untill either a non infected crack comes out or i buy it lol and thats a waste of space on my HD not to mention bandwidth!

one off the best singleplayer games ever!
ok ive installed BS without any issues
after the install is complete it asks if i want to get the latest nvidia drivers , last time i installed and had the probs i did use the option to update the drivers and if memory serves me correctly the troubles started after i installed those drivers and reststarted my pc(maybe the link is fake or a duplicate something , really not sure about that)
so ive avoided it this time i hope though i have not put the crack files in yet and have not run the game yet (i figure ill post as i go along)
so ill post again once im done and let you know how i go

actually bro i didnt mention before but i have a dual boot goin on and i am a big fan of XP as well ive got XP Pro x64 (the way of the future is x64 baby woot woot!) which i unfortunately paid for when i was a green nOOb myself but it is well worth it in terms of having a strong stable OS to fall back on untill all (or most lol) of vistas bugs are sorted out
ive thought seriously about using ubuntu (if only for beryl) but havnt installed it as yet and probly wont for the forseeable future
and yeah vista does take ALOT of the thinking out of using your PC which i dont particularly like either
so yeah im hanging for both XP SP3 and Vista SP1 ill be getting both and weighing up my options after that
mostly i use vista to familiarise myself with it ,cause as we all know microsoft controls 90% of the OS market and in a few years Vista will be the mainstay as XP was a couple of years after 2000 was put on the backseat
one thing that pisses me off is that DX10 is only available in vista…. that sucks
either way im comming up to needing a new vid card and am looking forward to seeing it in action

The LOLCATS release installs SECUROM. Just like FLT said, it was just a loader, not a “real” crack. You’ll need to remove SECUROM Manually from your computer.

You’d better remove it when you’re done playing BS because SECUROM is a security breach that rootkits can exploit (malware). I’m not complaining about it though. I’m just glad I can play BS with occassional crashes here and there.
