Here we have another good and small game. This one is released by DarCoder. Bionic Commando was very popular on NES. Now we have this game for PC, PS 3 & X-box. I think this game is awesome. Very high score on IGN & Gamespot. Watch a video a bout this game, read about it (Wiki info, IGN, Gamespot) , I know you will love it. This game is epic… Enjoy this remake. ;-)

Description:
20 years after the 8-bit classic was released, Bionic Commando Rearmed recreates the world of the original with a complete “2.5D” visual revamp.     Well…

    The game is good, but not GREAT.

    It becomes boring… the gameplay isnt that good as the original 3D version will be.

    Bionic Commando is awesome!

    One of my favorite NES games growing up, not sure how you can compare it to the 3D version to come, which by the way is not the original, the NES one is.

    Anyway Great post, think I’ll buy it for ps3 now : )

    Those “minimum” requirements are ridiculous!

    As for the game itself, it makes me sick the way NES versions of games are held up as the ultimate version. Bionic Commando was originally an arcade game. Not only that, but NES games are notorious for adding in all sorts of crap that was never in the original game, not to mention that most of the back stories in their manuals were written by people on crack.

    Sucks in my opinion.

    Instead of being able to jump, you have a really hard to use grappling hook of an arm.

    The tutorial is entirely dedicated to learning the tricks of how to use it, and took about 20-30 minutes.

    I have found out the hard way that my cpu is outdated for this type of game even though its 2d!! The reason being is that U MUST HAVE 3.0 SHADER equipped. There is no work around for this and people that paid $15 for this are really pissed. hehe. Neway PLS NOTE THAT IF U DO NOT HAVE SHADER 3.0 ON YOUR GRAPHICS CARD YOU ARE SH** OUT OF LUCK.

    The game goes into a black screen after the splash intro before the game starts. The sound works but i see black. And i went through all the forums and found out about all of this. Thank you capcom for making a 2d game impossible for a current laptop hahaa.

    Its not a 2d game, its 3d in a 2d perspective… anyhow it runs perfect all maxed out at 1680×1050 on this quad core, 4gig ram etc but er its a lil extreme for such a simple game o_O

    Bought it on Xbox, and then PS3 (finish it on xbox but the challenges are nearly impossible w/out a dualshock).

    Went then on vacation and bought it on Pc, but never got it to work, capcom never answered my mails about failed registration. Really hope that crack works !!

    well, well, well, first alone in the dark now working and now this one. Where are all those guys that were saying some months ago that steam was THE protection and alone in the dark was impossible to crack and bioshock was cracked because the prgrammers made a mistake but that wasn`t going to happen again???? well, guess once again we see how crackers are way too smart for this guys, at least now i can buy bionic commando and use the cracked one so i don`t have to put that stupid steam garbage in my machine, way to go crackers!!!! thanks!!!!

    HarryBallz - Mount it with Daemon Tools Lite (free download) and install it, then look in the Crack folder and copy over the DLL file there to the install directory, overwriting the original. That’s it! Only takes a couple of minutes.

    This version posted here on rlslog is the PC version which is, of course, not compatible with PS3 and/or Xbox 360. In order to play it on one of those consoles, you have to download it through PSN or Xbox Live!. Thank you!

    Which version? There was a good version released in Europe by GO! and an utterly horrible version released in the USA by Crapcom. Back in the C64 days, Crapcom fully earned that nickname.

    Already bought this game on Gamersgate the day it came out. Totally worth the $15, and IMO, it’s one of the very best games to come out this year, retail or download, on any system. Amazing remake of an amazing classic game.

    well the game is not working for me evern after copy/pasting the crack…whn i run the game i get the error:

    “could not write licence data
    please contact customer support”

    does anybody else face the same error???

    Works fine on XPS Laptop.
    Highly anticipated game, which… has turned out to be the most BOrING, repetitive game i’ve played in a long while. There are Flash games with more longevity than this. It’s simply works like so.

    Shoot one enemy at a time.
    shoot out a grappling hook to climb to various platforms
    go through the occasional door
    And fight a boss (the only decent part of the game)

    Graphics and music are great, but COME ON, for those sticking up for the gameplay, your lying to yourselves.

    I’m a retro gamer, I owned an Atari ST… So it’s not that I can’t relate to old school games…

    They just chose the wrong game to remake. Streets Of Rage would have Killed it.

    Thanks, the crack seems to work perfectly. However, it seems like “DRU” is right, you need a pixel shader 3.0 thingy.
    D:
    So damn annoying to be able to access the main menu and even the game itself, but without seeing anything… If anyone knows how to fix that, please tell me…
