Biography Channel Weird Al Yankovic WS DSR XviD-SYS

The Biography channel did a show about Weird Al Yankovic and group SYS brings it into the scene. I would download and watch this because I have heard some of his songs but I don’t know much about his life. The torrent is not online yet but we could get lucky if someone posted some http urls.

Alfred Matthew “Weird Al” Yankovic; born October 23, 1959) is an American singer, musician, satirist, parodist, songwriter, accordionist, and television producer. Yankovic is known in particular for his humorous songs that make light of popular culture and that often parody specific songs by contemporary musical acts. Since receiving his first accordion lesson a day before his seventh birthday, he has sold more than 12 million albums (more than any comedy act in history), recorded more than 150 parody and original songs, and has performed more than 1,000 live shows.[5] His works have earned him three Grammy Awards among nine nominations, four gold records, and six platinum records in the United States. Yankovic’s first top ten Billboard album and single were both released in 2006, nearly three decades into his career.

Al parents gave him music lesson on the cheap. He’s a nerd with a math background and was going to Cal Tech when he and his friends in the dorm would songs and send them into Dr. Demento who was a radio DJ. The songs were a hit and he started to record more songs but did them in the Dorm bathroom as the sound was better. From there it’s all history as they say. He is interesting character/actor/musician.

Anyone with a torrent or something? (my ISP started sucking for nntp, and I haven’t gotten a second ISP yet like I’ve been meaning to). I’d previously have expected something like this to end up on Demonoid, but, yaknow . . .
