The US version is more focused on the game and winning. It comes across as a game show with contestants. The British one is more of a psych experiment with contestants, if anything, looking more for fame than to win or just the experience. Sure, they'd like to win, but the show is more about their interactions as people and which ones the audience enjoys most.

I can't stand the way the US version is handled. I think it partly destroys the essence of what the show is truly about and that is NOT to win or to see somebody win. Nobody gives a sh*t.

Why do they have tv viewers voting people out??? What sort of gamesmanship is that??? The US version is so much better because it's up to the contestants strategy in order to win the game.
