Bet On Soldier Black Out Saigon-SKIDROW

They might be one of the most disrespected groups in The Scene at the moment but (the new?) SKiDROW keep churning out the releases. They are not exactly high profile games but someones got to get em out i guess. Here we have SHiTROW’s (Their new nickname lovingly given to them by rival groups) latest offering. Another new expansion pack for the German made game Bet on Soldier. This must be the third or so expansion for this game so no lack of content (i presume). Interestingly enough though this game comes with that hateful bit of copy protection code StarForce. I say interesting because SKiDROW have shown that they cant really crack anything other than CD Checks so how they managed beat the StarForce prot, one of the hardest to compromise is a bit strange. Maybe they got a new cracker but more than likely they managed to find a unprotected .exe from a new source or something. So if that were true this technically isn’t a crack but having read the hundreds of comments on the whole Bioshock crack thing most of you don’t care. If it plays, it plays right? if that’s your philosophy then download and enjoy! You need Bet on Soldier to play this!

This is the second update to the original game which from what I have read online … sucks badly.

Has anyone played this game online at all?

I dunno, sounds like these scene guys are getting pretty desperate for drama…

Hey all scene groups! I’m a 2nd year language major, if you need someone to write a better script for the lame, petty, and immature garbage no one cares about (yet you seem to live and breath) lemme know. ^^

Shiny, OMFG, another time you proof that you’re a shining example of stupidity & have a complete lack of knowledge according to what’s up with scene and even games. If you don’t even know that this game doesn’t require BoS installed, how it plays, etc., then I don’t even want to read those laughable divinations about scene. Who are you to take a posititon to judge whats happening really? Everything looks like a drama outside thanks to mountebanks like your kind. You make RLSLOG look unreliable, especially when comparing your pathetic reviews to other writers here. Out with you or get real man!!!

BTW - I agree to only one thing: this and last releases of theirs blow.

while the original game reviewed poorly, the combat and weapon upgrades made it fun if you could tolerate the horrific acting and dialogue. The 1st expansion wasn’t nearly as good as the original but it was worth a quick play through. Blackout Saigon is simply a complete turd. The AI is totally broken this time around (pathfinding in particular). Also, the devs simply got lazy and set you up in the first level in some sniper towers while having endless waves of enemies spawning. Boring as hell.Looking at the credits it seems they built this using a skeleton crew. 2 programmers, a couple of art guys and a few peripheral other people. Its precisely the quality of games like this that is dragging the PC gaming industry down the tubes and NOT the downloading of games. NO ONE should have this foisted upon them for any amount of money.
