Best selling PC Games in the middle of June

Analyst group NPD released another traditional chart with best selling computer games in the United States. I’m pretty sure this list would look completely different in some different country, but that’s for another story. There’re no big changes on first places, World of Warcraft still dominates the game business. The Sims 2 are also relatively common in this chart with its various expansion discs. This TOP 10 is actual for week ending June 14.

1. World Of Warcraft – Blizzard
2. World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade – Blizzard
3. Nancy Drew: The White Wolf Of Icicle Creek – Her Interactive
4. Transformers: The Game – Activision
5. The Sims 2 Deluxe – Electronic Arts
6. The Sims 2 H&M Fashion Stuff – Electronic Arts
7. The Sims 2 Seasons – Electronic Arts
8. Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix – Electronic Arts
9. Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars – Electronic Arts
10. Age of Empires III – Microsoft

Oh, that reminds me of the game I downloaded a while back, Hunting 2008, right, I haven’t installed that one yet, I’d reckon I should. Now that is one original game, I’m not really into WoW, The Sims 2 and surely no Harry Pottergeistgames for me. The other games, such as racing games or strategy/war fps are cool but require too much of my puny little performance brought up by my one year young notebook. So I guess for me it is waiting for the release of SuperSudoku 2007. :D

Nancy Drew? I’ve never even heard of the name, game or novel..
Sims is extremely popular, alot of girls like it aswell so their nerd boyfriends go out and buy some gay expansion for her birthday / valentine’s day or x-mas.

“Nancy Drew” is actually a (girls) movie with Emma Roberts. How they came up with making a game outta it, I have no clue. Perhaps because there is also a series of novels offa it. Neways, the weather here hasn’t been this good for ages, I might as well enjoy it. ;)

@ USC – kinda yeah. Really shitty time of year for PC gaming. No good games coming out at all, nothing but old shit on the best seller charts.

All the good games will come out ‘08 – Spore (which might admittedly do a Black & White and happen to suck), Dragon Age, Guild Wars 2, and even Star Trek Online, which may or may not be good. Then there’s Starcraft 2, hopefully it’ll come out before the end of ‘08.

And 2009 we have the Sims 3. You can’t run, you can’t hide.

There are some great PC games coming out but this terrible list is a result of all the games that we pirate. What deserve to be there is STALKER, Galactic Civilizations II: DA, SupCom etc.

Not Sims 2 and its every other expansion or some Nancy Drew game.

What’s wrong with WoW? I think it deserves to be up there.

    August 2nd, 2007 | 00:56

World of Warcraft most certainly deserves to be up there.

Sidenote, WoW was released Nov 04′, in June 07′ its #1 seller, pretty amazing achievement if you ask me, I should probably buy it sometime soon, lol

  24. August 2nd, 2007 | 01:03

Only losers play those TYPES of games, this list means nothing I havent bought a PC game since Half-Life
