Best of RLSLOG – Week 53
The Final week of 2007 is slowly ending, everyone’s preparing for the New Year celebrations and we’re back with another Best Of summary. It was another mostly movie week with almost no new games and little TV shows and music. There were few dvd screeners which literally rocked the download statistics, although it wasn’t as crazy downloading mania as in case of leaked I Am Legend dvd screener. Let’s hope that “Week 1″ in 2008 will be at least as good as this one!

I dont know why CAM groups just dont give up. You can wait 3 weeks after cinematic release and a decent TS, TC, DVDSCR or R5 will be avaliable.
They are just pointless and ALWAYS dissapointing.
A group that releases a watchable copy first will be more applauded than the group that releases the really really crappy version that cant be watched.
But anyway, thanks for a great year RlsLog team, great job! And hopefully all the scene groups have been holding the really good releases over Christmas till the New Year

As much as I love Releaselog and what you guys do here, this just has to be said:

Yes, there are only 52 weeks in any given year. First, they post “Week 52″ twice, and now they add a non-existant week 53!

A TS and TC are both CAM-releases but the source of the Video and Audio are different then just a first release of a Cam.
Very disappointing that you haven’t read up first before posting what a TC/TS is.
So if Cam-groups gave up then we wouldn’t have the first release of the Cam, and yes you are quite right that most of the time those sux to watch, but also no TC and TS release you praise as quality OK releases.
Or the R5 which has Russian sound and then is synced with an English soundtrack from a Line. That line in general is from another Cam release that has Line as sound too.
But thank you for giving a very good laugh…I really enjoyed it.
I just shake my head at these people who complain about some posts or the linguistic skills. First off, nobody is forcing them to read anything, second English isn’t everyone’s first language (not mine either) and last but not least; don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, how you gonna complain about a free site??? Donate some money or shut the hell up.
BTW, congrats to the team for a great year. I believe the site has grown and improved vastly. Shame I already have so much going on, I would have loved to be able to take on Martin’s offer to become an author here.

A TS can be a MUCH improved version of a cam, yes, you can get TS’s that have the same video but line audio, or it can be from a COMPLETELY different source, like the Transformers TS (From 20th) was completely different to the Cam.
A TC doesn’t use Cam at all, it records straight off the reel. It has nothing to do with Cam audio or video.
Also, R5’s use TELESYNC audio, not Cam. Groups like PUKKA record the audio from a line jack so when they get their hands on the R5 they sync it in. Thats why the audio is usually different from the TS, because stealing from other groups is against the rules.

Keep the weekly round ups going! some of us have jobs and other obligations so we can’t hang out on rlslog every day. I’ve missed some good releases that i caught at the end of the week. Thanks Martin and staff, for reals. Here’s to another year of rlslog rocking it. There needs to be a button for donating beer…
we know about odd week number but the last best of post was week 52 and having two weeks 52 would look pretty weird too. something screwed with numbering at the time when we started doing this and it would be too painful to change all the numbers and titles so far
