Let’s see what will sceners produce in the next week, for example a DVDRiP of Blood Diamond would be really nice…

    Am,
Was wondering if anyone could help me.. I have this Medion router and it wouldnt work so i was messing around in the router settings and then i did something to it and messed it up..
I made the address type go to : Automatic Private Ip
I did that in the router settings eg(192.168.xxx.xxx) so i couldnt go back into the settings after doing thet because it now has a blank space for the default gateway… Ive been looking up about it for ages.. I found similar problems but none of them were any help… So ive turned to the wonderful audience of rlslog… How do i get it back to being Assigned by DHCP or any other way that it will just work!!!!!!!!!… HELP!!!! THANK YOU!!!

James, try logging on to your router using the local IP, “192.168.2.1″, something like that. Usually the intial username and password are “admin”, and respectively “password”, “1234″ or just leave it empty. That should guide you to your adminpanel where you can set and adjust things to your likings

Im havin a look at that Mike thanks.. And wickido, i think you mean go to the default gateway which would bring you to the router settings… I cant… because its on Automatic Private Ip and that gives me no default gateway which is usually 192.168.1.1 for me or different in different cases… I was able to go into the settings before but i did something inside them that put in in API insted od DHCP and because it was inside the router i did it, well i cant do anything i dont think…

James, if you say that’s the router settings that block you,you always reset the router manually. Look for a reset button on the router. It’s usually small and requires a pen or paperclip to access it. Again, I don’t know how your hardware looks or behaves, but generally you press the reset button until the light(s) blink, which takes about 5-10 seconds. I’m not that sure that the router is the source of the problem though..
