mVs bring us the first cam of Beowulf. I believe this is an interesting combination. Getting all the famous actors and their voices and making an animated movie with them looking as they do in real life. OOh 3d Angelina looks HOT. I don’t want to spoil it for myself so I’ll wait for a better release

The good thing is that in india hindi movies come out in PDVDRips. Basically the directors already have a complete copy of the film on dvd so someone uploads it and there you go top quality within 2 days of theatre release.
Only problem though is that the encoders are noobs so they generally put a 3hr 47min movie into 700mb divx
but there are some out there who understand the need of 2cds for hindi films cause they are so long.
Its nice that india hasnt really tightened up on torrents and p2p. LOL

Horrible movie crap. Reminds me of the crapola they did with 300. Why can’t people just stick with what works like good camera men. I am not watching this crud. Sorry to be negative, but these animation flicks are lame to me. I am glad we got braveheart and some of the good ones before they desecrated hollywood.

This movie was made to be viewed in 3D. It’s the main reason they made it an animation.

I like animated films like final fantasy was. I am also going to see this tomorrow at the movies. What is funny is that I have never read the story of beowulf.. So I have no idea what it is about, but looks badass.

I agree. I am tired of all the computer generated movies. Now, I did enjoy 300. But the difference is the actors were real. I know much of the background and effects were CGA, but the human touch is nice. To see an entire film that is supposed to look like humans without humans is a whole different issue for me. If it’s animated, at least have some fun with it and expand the characters beyond human. If it’s supposed to be humans, have real actors.
The quality of the sample its terrible (both the video and the audio). Do people actually watch this?
I understand improving computer animation but I dont understand trying to make them look as real life human as possible. Personally I prefer the old style Clash of the Titans animation, it would be if they made an update version of that.

@42 I agree clash of the titans and jason and the argonauts were awesome movies. The way they were made you could tell it was cheap even though that’s all they had back in the day.

if you can see it in the theater in 3d do it! it was spectacular. It is the first hollywood 3d movie i’ve seen and it was just simply amazing. If they start doing this with more movies i’m going to be visiting the theatre a heck of a lot more than i do now.
it would be a waste to see this other than IMAX 3D. it was completely 3d and was and incredible experience. better than 300. i will also stop downloading and will go to theaters to to see stuff like this.

IF you want to enjoy this movie, keep your eyes and ears closed from the 5th till the 10th (or something) minute…cuz they’ll spoil the entire movie in the beginning, which makes it one big “I can’t believe they did that, when will yhere be a twist they haven’t told me of yet?”…but their won’t be…
saw this in an 3d imax theatre, so it wasn’t entirely useless (as I had never seen a 3d movie, caan cross that off my list now)
