Paramedics David (Messner) and Vic (Huertas) answer an emergency call to find a young girl and her dead mother at a gas station in the outlands. No sooner do they break out the paddles than a truckload of whacko cultists arrive and force everyone back to their secret compound at gunpoint. This is the kind of place that would give Jim Jones nightmares: Strange symbols and numbers adorn the walls, speakers crank out unnatural speech, and experiments are conducted behind closed doors. Under the leadership of “The Teacher” the sect operates under metaphysical babble and mathematical formulas that they claim are the key to their rebirth on the eve of the worlds destruction. Worse yet, they seem to know an awful lot about our two paramedics and inform them that theyre mere hours away from completing their ultimate goal.

29th!! Saw this movie the first time round. Hated it. Not scarey no gorey. I recommended skipping.
This is an excellent rip. Nowadays you never know what you gone get whether you rent or dl or buy. Seems we’re in an age of subpar filmaking. this flick wasn’t even that bad except that it needed som’n more. During the “passing of the formula” they could have used some cgi besides the love scene. There’s way too much hype leading up to the climactic ending. i downloaded ‘Bug’ at the same time and both were lacking the extra action/drama that was needed to push them into classic status. i’m noticing a pattern of half-ass flimaking starting with the ‘Saw’ series, ‘Hostel’, ‘Halloween 2007′, and now ‘Bug’ and ‘Believers’.
