Being Neil Armstrong WS PDTV XviD-WATERS & Man On The Moon WS PDTV XviD-WATERS

WATERS released two interesting looking documentaries not too long ago that aired on BBC4. The first is “Being Neil Armstrong” and the second is “Man on the Moon”, read the descriptions below for a little more info. Enjoy!

Being Neil Armstrong
Andrew Smith, author of the best-selling book Moondust, journeys across America to try and discover the real Neil Armstrong – a man who, in the four decades since he set foot on the moon, has become increasingly reclusive. Smith tracks down the people who knew Armstrong, from his closest childhood friend to fellow astronauts and Houston technicians, and even the barber who sold his hair, in a wry and sideways look at the reluctant hero of the greatest event of the twentieth century.

Man On The Moon
Documentary telling the story of the US space programme, from the early days of the space race with the Soviet Union to the first moon landing in 1969. Includes interviews wth astronauts and ground staff, rare archive footage and an introduction by Neil Armstrong.

    in a wry and sideways look at the reluctant hero of the greatest event of the twentieth century.

    Now why would he be a reluctant hero… my guess is because he feels guilty and ashamed regarding his part in the Apollo Moon Landing hoax.

    @2

    Well you're going to have to dig up jacko and those tickets once the images from the LRO are released which will clearly show the moon lander.

    I thought people on this forum would know better than to believe in juvenile conspiracy theories.

    @9 Watch the documentary – Dark Side of the Moon….It made me a skeptic. I'm not saying it happened or didn't, but I am skeptical. I am looking forward to the LRO. But I am sure there are people that have already come up with a list of reasons why the footsteps are gone and why the lunar rover has disappeared…

    I see this brings out all the tin foil hat wearing morons that still don't believe man did go to the moon or is it that you are all so very very stupid you simply can not comprehend something like this.

    How do you handle these files? I tried Winrar (v3.8) and it says 'archives in unknown format or damaged.'

    Thanks in advance.

    @12

    Having watched it, I would call it a mockumentary. I also watched "A funny thing happened on the way to the moon."

    They're both a nice collection of logical fallacies for immature minds.

    I just knew that a release concerning the first moon landing would bring out all the half-educated nitwits and their conspiracy theories. They are always good for a few laughs.

    Interesting docs, decent quality.

    For anyone who is wondering what the above image is: It's a mirror. We've been shooting lasers at it for 40 years, the mirror reflects the laser back to earth. Doh!
