Right after the release of Battlefield: Bad Company scenegroup Allstars pre’s another Xbox 360 release: Beijing 2008. Not much info about this one but hey, it’s not that interesting for most of us. The release is region-free though so everyone that wants to, can play this one.

The Official Video Game of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, this multi-console game features a wide variety of Olympic sports — 35 events from the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games! The game also boasts online gameplay so that for the very first time, fans of the Olympic Games will be able to experience the thrill of competing against other gamers across the globe in the world’s greatest sporting event. Gamers can experience the thrill of competing in many of the official venues ranging from the famous Beijing National Stadium (the “Bird Nest”) to the National Aquatics Center (the “Water Cube”).

    What’s the point of this game anyway? And online play? What are they gonna do, let ppl see who can button mash through the 100m dash or the 1km relay the fastest? What about lag? What if I have a 120ms ping and I win a race 0.1secs ahead of the second player who’s closest to a server. Does he win because of proximity?

    Bah, idiotic game released out of some old men committe’s vague concept of obligatory expansion to “modern”, interactive media. Hardly even worth posting about.

    alone in the dark probably needs cracking first, i think it has an enhanced securom protection similar to the one of mass effect (except in this one you can only install once and need to deactivate your key if you want to play it on another computer with the same key)

    mm i am very satishfied with the xbox releases as well, always good to see new games coming out. it is kinda like christmas, when the new games keep comming and fast too. This game might be a bad present though, someone said it earlier, properly about tapping the botten over and over in every ´dicipline.
    But u guys on rls should be ready for the followups on sacred, farcry and fable….

    The process of releasing / ‘cracking’ games for the xbox/360 is much simpler than the process of releasing something as a movie or app.

    Your job is basically to get your hands on the game asap and rip with one of the many xbox one click rip programs..

    Soo not much work is involved..

    when I load the game I’m ask to update my xbox for the game to work, will this damage my modchip like games have done in the past?
