Finally the DVDRip of this highly anticipated movie Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead! There has been an R5 out there for a while but this is a huge increase in quality over it. If you’ve not yet seen this movie I recommend grabbing this now unless you want to wait for the DVDR or HD version, which is what I’m going to do ;)

Quality: Well Larceny decided to go with a 1CD release for this movie, causing the resolution to be very low. I’d definitely wait for an internal release as this rip isn’t going to pass for most of us. Standard MP3 audio and French subs.

Master filmmaker Sidney Lumet directs this absorbing suspense thriller about a family facing the worst enemy of all – itself. Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman plays Andy, an overextended broker who lures his younger brother, Hank (Ethan Hawke) into a larcenous scheme: the pair will rob a suburban mom-and-pop jewelry store that appears to be the quintessential easy target. The problem is, the store owners are Andy and Hank’s actual mom and pop and, when the seemingly perfect crime goes awry, the damage lands right at their doorstep. Oscar-winner Marisa Tomei plays Hoffman’s trophy wife, who is having a clandestine affair with Hawke, and the stellar cast also includes Albert Finney as the family patriarch who pursues justice at all costs, completely unaware that the culprits he is hunting are his own sons.

    I’ve already downloaded the R5 and Region 5 DVDRip, but haven’t seen it, and now this … I think I will do as Marceli and go for the full DVD-R for such a high-rated movie. :D

    This is a good movie, for anybody who hasn’t seen it you need to check it out!

    For anybody that cares the “Vantage Point” R5 is out, but it’s in Russian. Hopefully somebody will sync the English from the cam soon.

    This is a rip of the French dvd release, its title is in French and all the intertitles are in French. Since the release doesn’t include English subs, and the only remotely appropriate subtitle is some computer-generated subtitle file that’s been spreading on subtitle sites, I’ll rather wait for someone to release a proper version, or perhaps an internal retail dvdrip.
