Another 720p from SiNNERS but this time its a teenage comedy Beer League. I’m downloading this right now as I think that movies like Beerfest and Superbad are hilarious, so if you do too, grab this.

Quality: I haven’t seen AC3 audio with a bitrate of 448kbps on an HD rip in a while, but its just as good because most of us won’t know the difference. Great video quality and no subs.

Beer, broads and baseball: a group of misfits whose weekly softball games seem to have a lot more to do with getting into fights for macho dominance than hitting home runs. Artie is an unemployed and unmotivated drunk that is predictably still living with his mother. He is on a losing softball team, and he and his teammates are facing the end of softball as they know it if they can’t pull it together. When love enters his life, it unexpectedly alters Artie’s low self-esteem, and the odds for winning, not only the league trophy, but a new life, are certainly looking up. He and his teammates will have to go for the win.

    I know bluray posts have been up forever, but I havent had an hd capable monitor so i never bothered with them.

    I have a noob question:

    How (what software do i need) do i playback bluray vids? I take it I can’t playback in standard def w/ vlc?

    720×480 =480p
    1280×720 =720p
    1920×1080 =1080p

    Unless you have a a green or orange computer monitor hooked up to your dos machine you have at least 1280×1024 resolution which will show all of a 720p picture which is still substantially better then 720×480p which is what dvd’s are. Computer monitors have been HD since windows 95.

    I love Artie Lange, but this movie is just ok. It is a decent time killer, but BeerFest was MUCH better. Go Go Broken Lizard.

    Also, if you haven’t seen it yet, go see The Hammer with Adam Carola, now THAT is a funny and good movie.

    Thank you, Artie Lange, for making me want to inject myself with HIV. This movie was almost as funny as watching cats lick their balls.
