Another korean movie that was released a few weeks ago. Beautiful Sunday is one Korean thriller/drama movie that cannot be missed which I also highly recommend. PosTX have released this in great quality so if you’re into the whole Asian movies where you have to read the English subtitles, be sure not to miss this one.
Faced with mounting hospital bills for his comatose wife, detective Kang (Park Yong Woo) arranges for a portion of the wares from a drug bust to end up in a rival gang’s hands in exchange for a cut of the profits. Kang is willing to do anything to get the money he needs, but the crossed gang is equally determined to recover their stolen goods. In another part of town, Min Woo (Nam Gung Min) and Su Yeon (Min Ji Hye, The Fox Family) meet in a bookstore, fall in love, and get married. What seems like a happy ending derails when Su Yeon discovers that her loving husband is the same man who raped her one night in a dark street. For these two desperate men who have erred in the name of love, crime only leads to more crime as they try to confront their wrongdoings. What happens when their paths cross one beautiful Sunday?

This was a great psycological thriller.
This movies was also released a while ago I hit http://www.acfmovies.com to get asian movies, a lot of them are much better than the american crap they have been putting in the Theatres. Example “The Departed” was a rip off of “Internal Affairs”.

This one is 2007 and Korean not Japanese.
Ive checked , seems to work well with it, theyres a scene where they are talking about 200 grams of drugs and it shows on the comp screen 200g and in the subs, he also smashed the guys face off the table saying shhh and that also shows in the subs.
Anybody knows why this movie isn’t on IMDB?

That is mentioned on the the sub site with 1998 in brackets, weird….. Maybe the admins or sum1 thought it was the 1998 one, also the file was uploaded in 2007…
Ive checked thru the film with them and it seems ok to me, another scene a woman is talking to sum1 about funding with and brings up a toal of 24,600 and that is mentioned in the subs also.

You mean InFernal Affairs, not InTernal. And it was not a rip-off, it was a known re-make of the movie.

If your DivX player doesn’t support .srt subs then try using “Sub2Divx” which takes an .avi and a .srt and makes a .divx which is more compatible with standalones. It takes about 2-3 minutes per avi.

Synopsis
Chinkychink Chinee boy acts like tough guy until he meets Chinkychink Chinee girl who tames him, meanwhile Chinkychink Chinee boy2 grieves over Chinkychink Chinee girl2 who has turned into a turnip.
Unrepentantly Chinkychink Chinee boy meets Chinkychink Chinee boy2 and both Chinkychink Chinee boys feel compelled to act like tough guys at the same time. Some Chinkychink Chinee boy dialogue ensues where the powers of the ancients are called upon to assist in the forthcoming battle of the tiger prawn.
Disaster at the end as both Chinkychink Chinee boys find that their anger has ruined all and Chinkychink Chinee girl cops a stray bullet. All is not lost because Chinkychink Chinee girl2 has got a lot better and she sets about cooking up a big batch of beef in black bean sauce with crispy noodles.
The moral of the story is don’t act like a tough guy when you are only 4′ 6″ and have a 19″ waist

This movie was awesome. It brings forth some interesting morality questions for the viewer. I highly recommend it.
I just watched another great Korean flick released in ‘07, “The Show Must Go On” today (highly recommended), so I’m amped to see this. I missed this on the acfmovies boards.
@34 the subs that come with the torrent are korean subs not english
@39. The subs that comes with it are both english and korean, you just need to switch it with your player.. (i use BSplayer)
@40 I use mplayer and it didn’t recognize the subs but when I used wmp classic it loaded the english ones. THanks!
