the release earlier worked fine in my standalone player. but I guess if you don’t already have it, you might as well get this one. I loved this movie. I can’t believe we have to wait till april 2008 for season 4 to start

Just watched the first release. Watched it just fine without a single problem. This has got to be the dumbest nuke I have ever seen. Don’t waste your time for the repack, the original is just fine.
Amazing how many people obviously have been anticipating this next piece of Battlestar ! Nukes, repacks, repre’s …. I haven’t seen such many releases since Lord of the Rings was pirated.

What is so good about BSG compared to SG-1?
@eric: BSG is nothing like SG-1. But both are good, it’s down to personal preference.
SG-1’s CGI is crap compared to what you see on BSG, plus the characters take themselves way more seriously on BSG. Characters are flawed to the core in BSG, making them far more believable, real and human.

and then what does “nuked” mean ? i thought it was for a game with a non-working crack or for a file stolen from a group by an other that’s why i’m a little lost here it seems to have a link with the resolution of the movie but it looks fine …

Watched the ‘nuked’ version; a few times the audio was SLIGHTLY out of sync; if I’m to dl again it will be a DVDR version. Toaster fracker indeed. Thanks to the uploaders & rock on Rlslog.
Hey… My wife and I watched the original HOOKAH release and noticed something that need to be brought up.
I personally saw an image flashed of “something” to the effect of a human body. I am talking about outside of the scene where Adama was in the prototype Basestar. There were many other subliminal images of human- types with skins off flashed through out the movie that my wife had seen. I hope this was some “halloween” joke but if this goes on air through broadcasting “as-is” then the mass is in trouble.
The movie was fine, but could have done without the subliminals. These images were definitely NOT part of the movie.

You don’t need englsih subtitles, this show has english audio. Clean the crap out of your ears and listen to it.

I guess there will be a whole lot of long commercials with this movie, since the 2 hours, seem to only last 1:27 Hours…

The soundtrack in this release was done half ass. Sure it will sound fine if you are listening from a cheesy set of two channel computer speakers, but the center, rear, and LFE channels were completely stripped out making it sound weak compared to even a normal episode from the sci-fi channel if you use a real sound system.
I could see the ripper may have wanted to keep it two channel for bandwidth concerns, but the best approach would have been to downmix the 5.1 track into stereo rather than simply delete the four other channels.
